I have had this pedal for about 2 months now and have had no problems with it, all I do is turn off the dist and tone and just use the volume and I get a nice overdrive sound. I have noticed alot of people say that these pedals suck because there plastic and they break easy and then they write a bad reveiw about them. Just because they say stomp box it doesn't mean you jump up in the air and come crashing down on them, and most the time it's kids who complain does that tell you anything. Oh well back on to the reveiw, this pedal is well worth the money, and I'm 100 % satasfied.

this was the first pedal i ever owned... when i first got it i thought it was really good but i started getting better and through my fender princeton chorus amp and my randle mini stack it is just not the tone i need. i had trouble getting hi end out of it no matter if i tweak my amp EQ or teaked the pedal. its made out of plastic and i dont like that at all. i ended up giving it to my sister as a birthday present. i dont care what your thinking save up and get a better pedal... dont make my mistake.

Good for a Beginner

By Sub_Urban12

from Yakivegas

Pretty good pedal at first. After about 2 or 3 weeks the plastic cap that covers the battery snapped off. Then the lead that connected to the battery fell off and I had to re-solder it. This happened 3 times. The knob labeled "DISTORTION" is pretty much useless when it's turned past 4, though the distortion it made sounded pretty good. This pedal is a great buy and value for a beginner, but I'd recommend a higher quality one if you're a little more serious.

I bought this pedal 2 weeks ago, and hooked it upto my gibson 25wat amp and my squire bullet speical guitar. The effects are ok when they're turned WAY DOWN. but the "distortion" it clames to have suck really bad, but has an ok overdrive feel to it.

i got this pedal because i was tired of reaching down and pressing the OD button on my amp. it wanst bad for an entry level pedal, but now as i get better i realize that i need a better pedal. i started listening to the pedals on this site and found two really good ones. so if you have the money get a Digitech hot heads or grunge but if you just nedd something to get you by it is fine.

Arion Dist.

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

This was my first pedal. It's a fine distortion for the price, but it's not very good for an experienced player. It worked for me for about the first month I was playing but now that I've been playing for almost 2 years it a very boring distortion. If you are NOT a beginner do NOT buy this pedal go for something finer like a BOSS DS-1 or a ProCo Rat. For beginners it's just fine. Great value too.

First Time Pedal

Yeah I thought this pedal was great, at first I thought I didn't get the right tone, but after toying with it and getting the feel for it and my amp, this is probably my favorite guitar accessory. plus it was really cheap!

I got this pedal about 2 years ago and it still works great, all i do is turn the volume to max and the other two controls i leave at zero and i get a nice over drive sound and i add it to my current distortion, and it adds a nice punch to it great pedal for the money.

Decent sound

This pedal has a decent sound, but it was not exactly what I was looking for. Not quite heavy enough. It sounds great with stacked distortion though. The quality was very good, and it even comes with the battery. For the price, you cant beat that!

TRUE Distortion for the heavy at heart, short on $

Ask me a question

That's right. This pedal does it all. Subtle OD, all the way to Fuzzy TV Snow oblivion. Paint-blistering shred is right. This thing sounds like a cranked Mesa/Boogie but with more highs and a tad bit fuzzier and tinnier. The sound clips don't do this pedal justice. BUY ONE NOW!!!

Pretty Good

Pretty good pedal for the price. The plastic covering the battery broke within a week and the pedal is best used with a noise filter. Overall pretty good.

Ok, but not worth the money

By YPyAHcRtz

This pedal is a good value and has an okay sound to it. I used it for a while but it just wasn't the tone I was looking for. I suggest getting a better pedal or a modeling amp.

Sounds OK, but doesn't fit my taste!!

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I play more roots-rock and pop-rock. I think for all the people who play metal would like it but for me it sounds like a cross between a paper shredder, and a washing machine! Just to let you know, I have a Fender Strat, and hook up to either my Marshall Half-stack, or a wide selection of Fenders. So it may sound better using a Les Paul, but for me, it doesn't sound good.
