The Five 15-BB provides 220 Watts of bass tone that can be paired with a cabinet of your choosing. Comprehensive tone shaping options include a 3 band EQ, as well as hi and low inputs. The Five 15-BB is equipped with a footswitchable Drive control, a headphone out, XLR direct out, effects loop, plus an Auxiliary input with mix control. The AppTek feature allows users to connect their smartphone or tablet directly to the amp for further flexibility.

Comments about Ashdown Big Boy 220W Bass Head:
I would use this at a small gig. It does have a DI out so one could connect to a PA. The clean sound is good and varies with adjustment of the tone controls like it should, seems to have plenty of head room on the high input channel. Engaging the drive channel works great plugged into the low channel, less drive plugged into the high channel.
