A couple of months ago I saw ashdown had started making bass amps that I could afford, I ended up purchasing a MAG 300H with the 410T Deep cab, I have to say it is a great amp, especially regarding the price, this cab sounds ALOT like the REALLY expensive ABM cabs,it could use a tweeter attunater and someway to make it more portable (casters) but the cab is flush on the ground which adds to bass response. Its His are a bit abrasive at times, it has a great upper mid and defined attack that hits you rather hard, while its bass response is good due to its bottom port and deep construction it does lack depth, in that sense it just doesn't compare to a SVT 810, but with a little money for some outboard gear, im my case a Bass Pod XT live, the depth is most certainly THERE! honestly with this rig, I don't see the need to upgrade to anything bigger or more expensive anytime soon.

The cab is built very well but thats about it. I was running this cab with the MAG 300 head and it sounded alright at low volumes but at any kind of high volume, the speakers would distort. The horn blew after about 4 months, the grile rattles and the speakers rattle. It also doesn't like deep notes, it is a punchy bright sounding cab, the deep notes just make it crap out.

    Amazing Cabinet

    By Joseph-iLfiw

    from South Carolina

I pair this cabinet with an Ashdown Mag 600H Evo 2 and this cab will be everything you'll ever need if you're in a somewhat small enviroment. When the description says this bass cab can produce high pitched sounds, as well as low sounds, it is 100% true! Also side note, put good caster wheels on the bottom of the cab asap. Another great product by Ashdown. Espically for the price.

    Great cabinet

    By Stiltskin

    from East Tennessee

This is a great cabinet. The 4 10s give me the depth that I need and the tweeter is great for the highs. I run this with an Behringer BX 450H and the sound is great. The second best money I ever spent other than my Fender Jazz bass.

    By DanzBass

This is a great cab. The looks are sweet with the blue woofers the sound is great you can pretty much dial any sound you want out of this baby , I paired it with the mag 300, it is bad to the bone!! The only complaint is it needs wheels.

    Well Done

    By emoisthedeathofmusic

before i even talk about this cab, BUY CASTERS. personally i have a "mini" dolly i guess it's called. it's the only flaw with this cab. it isn't exactly heavy, just very awkward to carry and puts strain on your back and shoulders. now the good stuff. the punch is kick-*** without a doubt. it also gets very responsive low-end compared to other 410s. the high end is strong, but not that annoying twangy high which is definately a plus. Don't listen to other people talking about the speakers blowing, because they're using the wrong heads with different wattage. stick with the mag 300h and itll blow people away. the steel grill in the front is deceptive. it's easily dented, so dont be stupid and throw it around while hauling it. overall, with a price like that, buy it NOW. oh, and if you get the 115 under it with the mag 600, its unstoppable.

    Quality 410 on the cheap

In the endless sea of 4x10 bass cabs I always try to match the the cab with it's intended head.that being said I have been running thes guy with the MAG300H and the MAG115alone the 410 super clear with awesome mids, the lows are harder to hear, but certainly can be felt.the closed back with ports adds a lot of rumble, but four distorted 12's always seem to drown out four clean 10's so I run a 115 on top for a punchier low (mainly so the drummer and I can hear) when battling modern solid-state guitar amps ya gotta cover all the frequencies.

    Big Sound Small Price

    By Jambo-Go3FH

    from New Mexico

I've played through a lot of cabs and for the price this is the best out there. Clear deep tone at all volume levels. No problems in a year of use. I run an Ampeg B2 with a Line 6 Bass Pod Pro through it; great bass sound. Only 2 complaints. The grill could be a little better. When you gig either pack a dolly to carry it around or plan on adding casters. Can't beat the price. Can't go wrong with Ashdown tone.

Awsome after more than 2 years

This thing is still going strong sounds great and still looks cool. Tone is amazing, you can go from supper clear to dirty as hell. Owned it for more than two years now and no problems whatsoever. Would buy another one, but the way this thing is holding up I wont have to, so here is a review from someone who has played this thing 2 times a week every week for over 2 years, not someone who opened up the box and plugged in said it sounded good. This thing will last. Buy it now

Nice Cab couldn't ask for more

    By TommytheCat

    from Fitchburg, MA

I run this cab with the Ashdown Mag_300 head and Gibson Thunderbird bass. It really brings out the mids that Thunderbird's are famous for. It hits the highs jut as good as any aluminum cone cab but still keeps the warms tone of paper speakers. I love the tweeter it is great for slapping. But as with any 4x10 cab yo will have a little trouble getting the lows you really want, but for a 4x10 it gets really great lows but I will probably have to get the Mag 115 to help in the low end department. I just with they had casters for easier movement. This thing sucks when you have to move it down a drive way or across a large floor at a club. Just watch out it is very front heavy so it will land speaker side down if dropped.

    I really like it...

    By Big Daddy Sean

    from Austin, TX

I gigged out the other night with the MAG 4x10 and 2x10 cabs and it sounded great with my Rickenbacker, SansAmp, QSC setup. For the price, these really can't be beat. Surprisingly lightweight with good low-end. The only downfall are the handles on the side...totally uncomfortable to carry.

    Worth more and no RATTELS!!

    By Steve A

    from North Augusta, SC

It's really worth more than the asking. Sounds clear, well defined, low end & very well constructed. Same speakers as the higher end model but the cabnet is partical board. Solidly built, I push 300 watts RMS AND IT DOSEN'T RATTLE!!!
