I just recently got the AT-100A all tube head and man Im blown away. This head through this cheap affordable cab just shows that B-52 is gonna be the Marshall of the future. Tone is kicking price in the butt. yesterday I played with my friend and he has a mesaboogie dual rectifier through a marshall 1960A with a duet of vintage 30's in it and a duet of G12T75's and man did we sound close. I was really surprised. This cab just cranks the low end and really puts influence on the mids and the highs. I have a really thick sound now all thanks to B-52. I use a lefty mexican fender strat with 2 stock fender pickups and a fast track 2 on the bridge. This cab just really makes my sound my sound.

I have had this cab for about 2 years. Its been used in a progressive hardcore band, and has toured, so it has the regular wear and tear.I play an LTD Eclipse 400. My head is a Marshall AVT150. I really feel like this cab robs tone and volume from the head. The highs are always harsh and ear piercing, the mids pretty much get cut out, and the lows very muddy. If you are looking at this cab, i will tell you this:It is very durableThe casters are good quality and easily removeableit basically ends there. If you have this much to spend on a cab, save a hundred bucks and go for the Behringer BG412SIt will treat you a lot better.

    Awesome Cab!

    By Iroc

I play hardcore/metal with this Cab and it Rocks! I have a 300w tube amp and it's the only cab I dared to throw at it. It has massive low end and with 400w you don't have to worry about blowing any speakers. I even can play bass through it. You do have to be careful not to scratch the covering because it will tare. I love this cab and for the price you can't beat it! Has great clean tone and will harness all the distortion you give it. I believe this model has been discontinued and the AT - 412 is the replacement (that can go to 4 ohms) I am buying a second LG so that the impedance will equal 4 ohms. I've had this cab for 3 years and with the right amp it will melt your face off!

    Great Cab

    By Anonymous

I've had the cab for about 2 years now. Its extremely durable and the speaker tone is great for leads. It does have a searing high-mid tone so it tends to cut through a mix very well. The only problem I've has is using the 4ohm B52 ls100 head. It produced so bumpy low frequencies that overpowered all of the other frequencies. But if you know how to use your gear and EQ youll be fine. I filtered it right out and have a kick butt tone for my Progressive metal band.

    Nice Cab!

    By gibsonsg4417

I picked up this cab the same day i picked up a used 5150. I was looking into the 6505 cab. I didn't have a very large budget to begin with. I ended up grabbing a b-52. Im so glad! Its preformed every bit of what i hoped it would and more! Such a great value for an awesome metal sound. I highly recomend it!

    eh.

    By mo-ufeD1

Yeah , it's loud. Yeah, its durable. But the tone? eh. Very sharp and tinny, almost unbearably so. Lots of low end, but almost to the point of muddiness. I've owned this thing for almost 3 years so I have a good idea of what it can do and, more importantly, what it can't do.

    NICE CAB

    By Mike J-F_LcC

This cab is great! I run my 5150 through it and it sounds great. I was on a limited budget and this did the trick! It has plenty of handling for a powerfull amp. I recomend this to anyone on or off a strict budget!

    Get what you pay for

    By The Bitter End

Loud cabinet that is for sure. Very durable and cheap. The problem I have is that the speakers have bad projection. You get a totally differnt sound and volume when you stand in front of it and 4 feet to one side. Good for beginners

    Amazing

    By Rich-nO78x

Pretty much anything positive said about this cab is true, it handles a lot, it sounds amazing, the only problem with mine is that the casters fell off the first couple months of owning it. Other than that this thing is pretty much a tank.

A guitar fanatic's dream come true

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

I have owned this cabinet for about a year and a half and the only word I can say is,"Perfection". Along with a Marshall VS100 Valvestate head and a Boss Metal Zone, this cabinet is the loudest, clearest, most responsive, and durable cabinet I have ever played with. It has a extremely warm and sharp distortion, the bass in this cabinet is unbelievable, and on the clean channel, there is no other sound but the ones coming from your guitar. This is most deffinately the best cabinet on the market right now.
