    An Excellent Amp

First off this amp is amazing! The sound on it is incredible. The clean channel just has this really nice mellowness that is fantastic. And when you turn to the distortions, it becomes so heavy! It has a really hot distortion but still has the heavy chug which is phenominal. You can change up the EQ for the two distortion channels which is nice when you're a lead guitar player. I use a Jackson DXMG with everything stock and it just sounds so sick. This amp is great and it doesn't break the bank, I highly recommend this amp for metal heads.

An alright amp, but not as good as the reviews say

    Features:

This is a three channel amp, one clean and two overdrive. The overdrives on this amp really let me down, they sound so sterile, and picking dynamic has no effect all, and it does not have a lot of gain, i had to switch to a pedal for all my gain needs. The supplied reverb is alright, but once again not great. footswitch is nice and easy to change channels. The included cab is AMAZING however. and is the best feature of this amp.

    Quality:

This amp is durable. I have had it for two years and used to play it all the time at practice and gigs, its never given me a problem.

    Value:

I give the value of this amp a seven, you get what you pay for, and your not EVER going to be able to sell it for more than that, dont kid yourself.

    Overall:

This amp is alright, its not great, its not horrible. I expected more from this, and i did not get it. It would be good if you ONLY play AC/DCish stuff, but lacking for anything with more gain than that. I now have a Marshall JCM2000 TSL-100 head, and I STILL play it through this cab, I LOVE the cab. I keep the head as a backup, but it will soon be replaced by the CHEAPER Peavey Windsor all-tube head, If you have the money for this, just get the cab and a Peavey Windsor Tube head. WARNING:It is hard to get a "Clean" Tone from the Peavey Windsor, you have to use your guitar volume and pick attack to get that, so if you want a predominantly "clean" amp, get this one instead.

Toss Out Your Wife And Pick Up This Half Stack

Between us musicians, I got some advice for you. Toss out your wife and pick up a B-52 LS100 and LS412A Half Stack, 'cause this baby screams for me all night and day everyday. I take her on gigs and as soon as i turn her on and stomp on the included channel shifter she the sound of my SG will explode through the air and crystal clear tones with rich included reverb pierce through the night like a storm whose firepower is guaranteed by the nasty high gain channel, which provides the distortion of one guitar that can be changed seamlessly with a kick to the shifter to another gain channel set to your liking. This is one hell of an amp, and I recommend tossing your sissy of a setup off a roof to make space for this beautiful monster. And if it were your new B-52 LS100 and LS412A Half Stack thrown from a roof, it wouldn't be too big of a deal. Because instead of some lame cloth cover, there's a metal faceplate protecting my B52 4x12 speakers from even the most dangerous of fans. -Richie Hanssonson

    Great amp for the price!

I play metal and progressive rock. I wanted a Mesa Rectifier but I don't have that kind of cash. So I bought this amp and a BOSS ME70 effects unit. It was $800 for everything. The distortion on Channel Two is pretty decent. It is close enough even with stock pickups (Ibanez RG7321). However it needs a little more gain. I tried running the ME70 through the effects loop to give it a boost and it does sound better, but it still needs a little more. So now I am running the ME70 Rectifier setting directly into the clean channel. Perfect, for the price. I do have to say that you have to play with the BASS settings and individual channel volumes to bring out the amps best. Not intuitively obvious.

I saved up forever to get this thing. When I finally had the money I bought it, went home, and plugged it right up. One problem was a lot of feed back. And it mite just be my Les Paul, but the feedback would belt out even when I was playing. It was annoying. Another thing is the cabinet says it can handle 400 watts, but the speakers started wearing out in less than a week. I was very upset with this. The customer service is okay though. They mite fix it up for me. I hope so. I really wanted to enjoy this amp. But maybe I will just start looking for a better cab. The one with celestions  in it looks rad. But I don't have that kinda money right now. And I wont for a long while. Minimum wage is all I got to put toward it.
