Four 10s in a sealed cab for tight, punchy lows.
The Basson B410 Guitar Cabinet features the same air sealed, road warrior construction as the B412's but introduces another personality to Basson's unique tone. 10" Eminence speakers produce a slightly more mellow attack and bass response not typical of 4x10" cabinets.
The enclosure's joints and speakers are silicone sealed to obtain consistent air volume. This creates an air spring that the speakers respond to with less distortion at high volume levels. Other cabs "Woofing" is caused by distorted low end, which is inevitable for unsealed or open-back cabinets (the speaker travels too far when driven). Consequently, clear mids and clean highs cannot be produced while the speaker is struggling. Basson Sound has solved that problem. 5/8-inch MDF is used for subtle resonant qualities that minimize sound coloration. An excellent supplement to the voice of a blues, jazz, or country guitarist. Features removable casters.

I got this speaker cabinet last March. I feel a 4x10 cabinet is such a classy part of a guitarist's rig. I did a lot of research before I settled on the right 4x10 cab for me. The speakers in all of my other enclosures are Eminence, and I am now a big fan of Eminence. All of Basson Sound's guitar cabs come stock with Eminence speakers, so they were at the top of my list. The way these speakers project the sound from my guitar and amp head is unbelievable, especially after proper break-in of the Eminence Legneds. This cab handles up to 300 watts, which give me a lot of headroom with my 35 watt tube head. The cab stands still and projects sound, so my whole house shakes, but the tubes don't vibrate. This is one solid piece of gear.
As a touring musician who's played shows from the first House of Blues in Chicago to the brand new one in Dallas, I can honestly say tone matters. BASSON approached my new project and I was already a fan of their cabs but to get a die-hard Mesa/Bogner guy to buy them wasn't easy. I purchased and now happily own the 4x12 and a matching 2x12. They weigh more than most but they put the sound out front and don't color your tone like a Mesa. They look great and destroy just about any cab for less than twice the price, as well as several that ARE twice the price. Truth is, if Bogner or Mesa came to me with an artist endorsement today, I would turn them down. These cabs are a ridiculous value and the customer service was PHENOMENAL, which goes a long way with me. I will definitely be buying the bass gear and the new amps, as well as recommending them to anyone. There are better cabs out there but for so much more money, it's a joke. BASSON is for real.
