Built for low frequences and high volume.
The Basson B412 guitar cab is designed for smooth tone at extreme volume. The enclosure is air sealed with silicone to maintain consistent air volume, creating an air spring to prevent the speaker from excess travel. The result is less speaker distortion when you play low and loud. This consistency combined with 300W of power handling makes for a cab low enough for the 7-string enthusiast, and clear enough for the clean tone soloist. Removable casters.

I am blown away every time I plug in. I can not help myself but to crank these cabs to their limits and the louder they get...the better they get. I have played Marshall, Crate, Line 6, Mesa, and Fender cabs in my lifetime and I always had a full stack to punch with. Nothing compares to the sounds I get out of my Basson cabs. Whether I am running a 12-string acoustic and getting perfectly warm tones through it live. Then I can crank up the crunch and pound my 7-strings through these...and they handle beautifully. If you are looking for a cab that is made for Metal...This is for you. If you are looking for clean/perfect tones...This cab is for you. If you are looking for the best quality (regardless of price)...these are for you. If you are looking for a perfect cab to record with...This is for you! If you just need a damn good cab that can play any style/any genre of music...BASSON is for you!

I bought one of these after seeing all the hype surrounding it. Well, now I've owned the cab for nearly 2 years, and while the cabinet is built well and is excellent quality, I can't STAND the Eminence Legends in it. They're harsh and thin for modern distortion, as they're made to replace vintage American speakers (see for yourself on the Eminence website). Don't take my word for it, as these reviews definitely can be misleading. Hear for yourself through your head or one of a similar type, because this may NOT be what you're looking for.

I was just recently endorsed by Basson, and I cannot be happier with my choice of a cab! I used to play with a Line 6 cab with Celestions, and this thing simply blows it away. The mids are super punchy and it cuts through the mix perfectly. My band plays in drop B tuning, and this thing can handle the lows at any volume! Super heavy, super tight, and super reliable....I LOVE BASSON!!!
I bought this cab a year ago after reading reviews on it. I'm glad I bought it! It sounds great, its road sturdy and its way cheaper than a mesa boogie, and sounds better than Marshalls in my opinion. I use a peavy jsx head through it and it sounds awesome. I used it while recording my band's album and the tone came out great. The only negative thing I would say is that the sound doesn't project laterally as much as most other cabs. If you are micing this cab it doesn't matter, but in our practice space the other band members have a hard time hearing me over the other guitarists cab.
Wow!! What A great guitar cabinet, once I plugged it in I was blown away. Such great clarity and overall sound quality. Good job guys!
I brought my Basson 4 x 12 cabinet in for some recording at Trident studios in Concord. Juan really liked the tone of the cabinet and asked to borrow it. Now I can't get it back!! Every time I go to pick it up, Juan has it with mic's all over it, and he is in the middle of using it again... DON'T LET ANY ONE BORROW YOUR BASSON CABINET! I am going to have steal it to get it back.. Something about that deep, rich tone in unique!!!!
well ive played mesa cabs and marshall cabs and other top line things and i actually never played a basson but the reviews were amazing about them so i did something funny i rolled the dice and decided to buy one without playing it and man did it blow the others out of the water the bottem end on this is absolutly amzing i can turn my triple x as far as my ears can take it and you wont even hear the cab flintch no "woffing" or breaking out just amazing
My Basson B412 Cab is awesome! It produces a strong low end that sounds great for heavy riffs, while still upholding a crisp high end for solos and 2nd guitar runs. Also, not only does it sound great, but it can stand up to the thrashing of live proformances. We play a lot, and I drag this cab through everything. Overall, it is a high quality cab for a good price.
The clarity is almost startling. Tremendous note definition, punch, and bottom. Construction is beyond solid. Great tech support. If you want a cab that lasts a lifetime this is it!
I was tired of using the same cabs as everyone else, every time we played a gig everyone we played with had the same cabs. I bought my Basson 4x12 on faith that it would deliever all that was promised by the reviews that I read as well as actually calling the company and speaking with them. I have put my BASSON up against my other cabs and it not only looks cooler it has a tighter bottom end and tighter response. My other cabs always had that flabby bottom end. I get compliments from other guitarist wanting to know about my cabs and the sound I get from them. I have two 4x12 cabs with a Mesa Dual Rectifier and I can't wait to get in the studio with them later this month. Don't take my word for it. Go and getcha one and become a believer yourself.
This is the best money can by.Ive owned Mesa Muddifier,Randall XL(crap),Marshall(cardboard)and Peavey cabs.My band recently played with a band endorsed by Krank and they were wondering why my cab tone was tighter than their 1000 dollar Krank cabs and they said theirs arrived falling apart not the Basson ,solid as a rock.Ive been pumping a 6505 through it and gigging for about a year and a half and it performs flawless.
Hey guys. just wanted to say if you were even slightly thinking about this cab go for it! The band im in just got endorsed by them. It was extreamly easy so i was sketchy about it because i figured the quaity wouldnt be there, but i was completely wrong!!! Ive used MESA oversized and reg cab Orange cabs also. These cabs can def hang with them no problem!!! I love how tight the cab is. We used 7 strings with drop tunings and these cabs bring the brutals without any mud at all. i couldnt say anything better aboout these cabs. All the people at basson are great to work with aswell very easy and our cabs arived fast and were in great shape. couldnt ask more.
