The Basson B810B handles 2,000W of mean, gut-pounding bass. Its tone is extremely aggressive, reaching all the way down to 28Hz. The B810B has similar fundamental warm sub-bass sustaining qualities as the B210B and B410B, but has a subtle growl that begs to be pushed. This beast blends naturally with heavy guitars, yet remains a powerful statement in any musical context. This is the most brutal cab in Basson's line of bass cabinets weighing in at nearly 230 lbs. with 8 - 10" BS1075 drivers with 200oz. magnets and 2,000W RMS handling at 4 ohms. Amp choice is critical and must run at 1,500 watts per channel at 4 ohms minimum. Features 1-1/2"-wide grab bar and fixed casters. This thing is pure AWESOME! Ever gone to shows and watched the bass player try to get a good sound in the house because his little wimpy junk sounding portable bass rig cannot be heard over one (not to mention two) guitars and drums? I have gigged this cab in large venues as well as outdoor venues and rarely even have to go into the house mix at all! I play with two VERY loud guitarists with Marshall and Mesa stacks and a VERY loud drummer. Finally they are the ones asking ME to turn down because they cannot hear themselves! Justice served!!This thing will make other bassists sick because they purchased something else! Sounds like pure thunder with clarity and punch that I have found NOWHERE else! I play a six string bass and this cab handles the low B as well as the high C with pure authority. I have yet to make it break up at all with my SVT 4 PRO! I have tried ALL the other fridge sized cabs because I wanted something that would make people KNOW that there is a bassist in the band...this cab outperformed ALL other cabs! It is also built sturdy. Don't miss out on pure bass just to get a light weight cab. You will regret not buying this cab so just buy it already and find out what a bass cab is supposed to do!

Like good sounding midpriced PA boxes the particle board just makes a more solid bass sound. The speakers are car audio ones from Chinese sources, they look like a few other brands available around town.I give it low marks for the parts used. Sounds good but won't last.

All I have ever wanted is a single bass cab that you could turn all the way up, hit the low E, and feel the note, not the farty sound of a cab that is being overpowered. This is it. I am running a Sansamp RPM preamp through a 2000 watt Carvin power amp and, well WOW. Maybe not WOW, more like finally a bass cab that does what I hear in my head. I always hated 10's because even though the Ampeg 8x10 is the most famous cab in the world, every famous bass player you've ever seen on stage has like 20 of those things to produce that sound. I can't afford that, I just wanted to find one cab that competes with guitar stacks and a loud drummer. I wish I would have bought this thing a long time ago. It's not cheap and you need 2 strong friends to help move it, but the sound far outwieghs those things. Basically my Mesa 400+ head and Mesa 2x15 cab is now a practice amp. If you know what kind of rig that is, you know how good I'm saying the Basson is. Oh yeah, Shawn is a very helpful person to talk to before you buy his cab.
I've been playing Carvin for 15 years and I needed something to get down to low F#, while looking I came across Basson. This 8x10 cab is the end all cab for any bassist. It's power hungry but I use a separate power amp and a pre amp to run this beast. It won't disappoint and always impresses.I highly recommend this to anyone looking to shake the earth!

One of the meanest cabs ever. I use this cabinet with my Ampeg Pro 4 and crank it more than half way and it never distorts. Ive played many bass cabinets over my 20 year career and this one by far is the best.
This is a review for the Basson 8x10B Bass Cabinet. Silver cover, giant commercial-strength handle and tilt-back casters for easy moving. 2 speaker-on connectors for the amp which are far more reliable and better for this type of power output. The sound out of this is unreal. I run a Euro Spector 4string through an Ampeg SVT4 and I dominate all other amps, hands down. The bass/mids/highs can get up to riduculous, but they never break up, the tone is always clear and defined with no distorion whatsoever. Cabinet holds up to 2000 watts, and I'm not even close at 1600 with my Ampeg SVT4. If you can sell all your other gear like I did and get this, by all means, do it!!!!
I've played this amp numerous times at shows. A guy in our brother band uses it, and lets me use it for shows we play with them. Let me tell you, when you can get a bass amp, that you can hear, by being about 10 feet infront of it, AND people far away can hear it even better. You need to get one of these suckers.It's so clear, and precise, if you play slap bass, the thump it gives alone will make you crap your pants. Bass slides sounds amazing on this thing too.I would reccomend this to anyone with the money to get it.
I've had the "best", I thought. I have owned Vintage Ampeg 8x10's, new Ampeg 8x10s, SWR 8x8s, SWR Megoliath 8x10, Eden...Peavey...NOTHING, absolutely nothing compares to these cabinets, the lows are incredible, not just earth moving, back pounding, but tone, great tone. There is a difference between Low B and Low C. I play conventional 4 strings basses, 4 strings tuned BEAD, 8 string basses, and the beast of beasts, a 12 string bass tuned to BEAD. This Cabinet is insane, never breaking up or farting out on the Low Lows and crystal clear on top. Also with the cab being able to be split, your options for effects are unlimited. I've held my own against 4-4x12 cabs and a 10 piece drum set. My only warning on this cab is to use serious POWER. I have run it on 1000 watts on my mellow days but to be KING, feed this thing what it desires and you will have a new best friend. Once you go Basson, you never go back !!!!!!!!
This cabinet is sick. You can hit a note and it will rumble for days. The clarity, the power and craftsmanship is awesome. A lot of people claim they have power, but what good is it if it starts to distort and fall apart?? With the Basson 8x10, it's like the perfect fast car. Power, beauty and reliablity. Why buy a Chevy when you can get a Ferrari! Thanks Basson.
I am not a bass player I am a drummer. I have been playing drums for about thirty years now, and our base player in the band just picked up one of these base-cabninets, and I gotta tell ya, it is the cleanest sounding base-cabinet I have ever heard, and It has been a pleasure being next to this cabinet and I'm looking forward to more of their products, and I'm not even a base player.
