Once you get past 3 or 4 on the Depth dial the sounds become unusable - before those points it has nice analog vibrato and chorus effects. And the dials are pretty sensitive, so there is some versatility to the pedal before you get into the spacey unmusical tones at the top end. Plays well with humbuckers and single coil pickups, and did well with an OD pedal in front.
The pedal is built like a tank and looks like it will last for decades. The LED effect showing speed is a nice feature, and it truly is two pedals in one. (Note that you can't use it as both vibrato and chorus simultaneously, but to my ears the chorus layers atop the vibrato anyway.) It's not "Boss small"; it's more the size of an EHX Little Big M-Pi. But since it's two pedals in one it justifies its space on the pedal board.
The bottom line is the Mind Bender is nowhere near as essential to me as some other pedals (e.g., an OD pedal), but the pedal delivers useful vibrato and chorus effects at a reasonable price.
A final quirky note. The Mind Bender also had a strong chemical smell out of the box which I've not encountered with other pedals. It has dissipated over the few weeks I've had the pedal, but still has the smell.

This is a really spacey, over the top pedal. If you are looking for something to add some prettyness to your cleans or a subtle flavor to your distortion, look elsewhere!!! I you like crazy effects, this might be for you, but expect to have your tone drastically altered, and not just by chorus and vibrato.
I traded a fuzz pedal for this pedal, wanting to replace my Danoelectro Fab chorus. Well, the search continues. This is a really over the top chorus. It doesn't really pretty up your cleans, just adds a really noticeable modulation effect, bending the pitch of your notes heavily. Even at the lowest settings, one you get it noticeable it's too pitchy for good cleans. IF you run this in the effects loop, it will KILL your distortion, removing all the highs and lowering the volume. Running in front off the amp clears this up, but it's still too over the top for anything but intentionally effects ridden tones. The vibrato seems nice - still really over the top - but i'm not a vivrato user so i'll reserve any more comment there.
Seems well built, but it overdrives your signal when engaged, pushing your clean tone into crunch territory. That cant be intentional. There is no gain or level knob to clear this up, rendering it unuseable for me.
At $149, there are much better choruses out there. I much prefer my $20 fab chorus. 'nuff said.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
Go this yesterday and WOW! this thing sounds awesome. Lots of different sounds available and tons of fun. Also really easy to dial in. Go buy one haha. I used to use a Rotovibe and the BBE blows it out of the water, both clean and dirty sounds.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
I first saw this paired with a Green Screamer when I was looking at the GS on YouTube. Good combination. This thing kicks in with some buttery chorus tone and compliments it well. I'm a BBE believer. Stupid deal pricing made it irresistible. The only thing I would like to have on this pedal is both of its effects working simultaneously, and I don't see a way to do that. If you could do both, it would sound more rotary.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
I ran this pedal with several guitars, Les Paul w/EMG 81's, Schecter C-7 w/Duncan's, and Schecter Corsair w/Benedetto's, I read several reviews that said that they weren't able to get clean sounds out of this pedal. I did not have that problem, I was able to get beautifully lush sounds with this guy. You have to keep the speed knob bellow the 9 o' clock position, and the depth bellow the 12 o' clock position for really lush chorus, and even less depth for nice vibrato sounds. I really like the way the on/off LED pulses in time with the effect, it helped me dial in the sound and speed I was looking for. I could deffinately see uses for the wild sounds you can get if you pass the previously stated settings for psychedelic types of music. All in all I dig this one.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
This pedal is straight forward and easy to use. It has two functions, chorus or vibrato with depth and speed control knobs. One foot switch for the functions and one for in/out. Both have LEDS so you know when they are engaged. The unit is all metal construction and the retro paint looks cool. It does sound like an analog chorus (think MXR) which is very useful but the vibrato function is where it shines. It reminds me of the vintage Fender amp vibratos but with more clarity. An additional plus is that it comes with the AC/DC adapter.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
I didn't like it when I first got it, however, the more I experimented with it the more useful it became. What i found is that the pedal can become ugly pretty quickly. I found it sounds best when the Speed knob is at 9 o'clock and the Depth knob is set between 9 - 11 o'clock. Then the chorus effect is very useful and lush. Adds a nice little bit of treble to the singal. Also, when you kick it over to the vibrato setting, as long as it is set low, I leave mine at the same settings for both effects, it adds a nice touch to your over all sound. I sometimes leave the vibrato on at all times. Its just subltle enough that you only notice it when you turn it off. Something different but it's growing on me.

Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
I love the sound, but the inability to get a clean signal out with a humbucker guitar (and I don't mean one with a hot EMG 81, I mean a Dimarzio PAF or Duncan 59) is a big turn-off.
Basic speed and depth controls and chorus/vibrato switch. Nothing too innovative.
Built solid! Sounds good, lets you dial in a variety from subtle to warbly and out-of-tune sounding chorus. BEWARE! Low headroom. Mine distorts with a humbucker equipped guitar. Sounds fine with a single-coil equipped guitar.
Might not be as cheap as some, but I think you're getting a finer sounding chorus.
Comments about BBE Mind Bender Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedal:
I'm never again using a digital chorus pedal. Both the chorus and the vibrato on this are exactly what you'd expect from an analog pedal: rich, full, and warm. There's really no way to get a "bad" sound out of it! At a slow speed, the chorus nails those classic late 70's/early 80's Rush and Police-type sounds, but when cranked up, it transforms into a spot-on Leslie rotating speaker effect. Until I got this pedal, I had rarely ever used vibrato, but now I use it all the time with tape delay and harmonizer to get a huge shimmery modulated sound. Get this pedal and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
