OVERVIEW

The EM600 gives you access to a vast palette of delays all in one amazing stomp box.

Delay is a synthetic echo that, in adjustable increments, repeats the notes you play on guitar. Each repeated tone becomes quieter than the previous one, until the repeats are no longer heard. This results in a thick, robust sound that can take on everything from the quick "slap" echo of classic rockabilly to the long, dreamy echoes found in psychedelic rock. Delay comes in many different flavors.

The Echo Machine is essentially 11 delays in one pedal: Ping Pong, Reverse, two different multi-delays, Tracking, Sweep, Swirl, Slap and three different tap modes. BEHRINGER Real Sound Modeling technology gives this pedal the ability to emulate the acoustics of a variety of environments. Produce realistic cathedral-like echo in your bedroom or cave-like echo at the corner bar. Real Sound Modeling makes it possible!

You can choose to give the effect a digital, analog or tape delay feel via a dedicated switch. You can also choose to put lush, psychedelic tails behind every note you play, or a more abrupt delay that fades quickly. Sculpt it into a truly unique delay by twisting the dedicated Mix, Time, Repeat and Modulation dials. There's even a Tap function that allows you to dial in the delay tempo by rhythmically tapping the footswitch. You can power this stompbox with a 9V battery or a DC Power Supply (not included).

FEATURES
  • The ultimate Echo Modeler that delivers the whole history of analog, tape and digital delay effects
  • Real Sound Modeling (RSM) combines state-of-the-art DSP technology with sophisticated algorithms to emulate real acoustic environments

Comments about Behringer EM600 Echo Machine Echo Modeling Effects Pedal:

I have already reviewed this pedal. I run everything through it, guitars, banjo, ukelele, harmonicas, and vocal mics. This echo machine is so awesome I had to get another one. the price is very affordable for something that does so much. If you are looking at this review. I highly recommend this pedal.

Comments about Behringer EM600 Echo Machine Echo Modeling Effects Pedal:

I have an echo pedal that didn't give me the sound I was looking for. I came across this one. Chose to purchase an open box deal. It doesn't work off the battery but that's ok with me, I prefer to run it on my daisy chain. This pedal is exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to shape an echo any way I please. I really love it. I play both guitars and harmonicas through it. They sound fantastic.

Comments about Behringer EM600 Echo Machine Echo Modeling Effects Pedal:

I purchased this to add to a homemade plywood pedalboard I built after my son gave me a used Danolectro Cool Cat chorus. I also purchased a Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive to use with my Mesa Dual Rectifier combo amp to boost the leads on the overdrive channel. It's a nice transparent overdrive. This echo machine provides any echo or delay I could possibility desire, although I'm a set it and forget it type person. Solidly built, and I love the silent pedal operation. The trails option is especially cool! I own much more expensive pedals but feel these Behringers fill that niche of acceptable quality when you don't want to spend too much. I had just set up a pedaltrain board with five pedals and had alot of velcro left over. I have a very nice Peavey delay from the early 90's on my main board, and a Zoom CDR Multistomp I love for use with other setups. I run them all with One Spot power supplies. I use the Behringer Echo quite a bit too and really like it! Peace! Part timer out!
