OVERVIEW

Plug in and kiss unwanted noise goodbye for good!

So you love the bite, twang and snap of single-coil pickups, but can't stand the nasty hum that comes along for the ride.

The NR300 actually functions as two pedals in one. In Reduction mode, you can adjust the dedicated Threshold and Decay dials to keep all your tone and dynamics intact, but effectively eliminate hum from the picture. In Mute mode, the NR300 becomes a super-quiet on/off switch for your instrument.

Operation couldn’t be easier. The NR300 features two LEDs—one to indicate when it's activated, another to indicate when it's suppressing noise. You can power this hum killer with a 9V battery or our PSU-SB DC power supply (not included). And the top-quality on/off switch maintains absolutely noise-free operation.

Lose the hum, but hold onto your precious single-coil tone with the ultra-affordable NR300.

FEATURES
  • Effectively eliminate unwanted noise and hum without altering your tone
  • Designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market
  • Preserves the original attack and envelope while leaving your playing and dynamics intact
  • Dedicated Threshold and Decay controls plus a Mute mode for awesome flexibility
  • Additional Send/Return loop for noise suppression of external effect units
  • Status LED for effect on/off and battery check

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

I have used a pedal board for my guitar for years but have never been quite satisfied with the clarity of sound. I hooked up this "puppy" after it arrived and never looked back. It is well made and does exactly as it claims: quiets the noise while maintaining you original sound. I am very satisfied!

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

I've been buying Berhinger products for years, this is my first complaint. I use this noise suppressor to quite the hum while using an Ibanez Tube Screamer, usually with a tube amp. I have to keep messing with it but it is not doing the job. I've even noticed when I shut off the Tubescreamer the Berhinger has a hum of its own. As I said, I'll keep messing with the controls and see if I can get a better result??

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

The NR300 worked well for 3 months. It was used on 8 gigs, several rehearsals, and during jams and solo practice sessions. In the end it started "crackling" which is often indicative of a component going bad. The result is that it started to induce more noise than it removed. Also, it was one of 10 effects so it took some effort to identify it as the source of the noise. At this point I get to see how well their customer service performs.

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

Answered an ad in the local CL to play bass once a month at a local church. I showed up with my Samick bass and plugged into a DI box to go right in the PA and overwhelmed the sound guy with hiss. I don't want to haul my bass amp and I don't have the money to buy a new Bass (besides I like playing the Samick), esp for a volunteer gig, so I searched and found this pedal. I have had good luck with Behringer stuff so I ordered it and gave it a try. It worked wonders! My bass signal came through nice and clear. It works well for me!

I got one of these because I'm on a tight budget right now and it works like I expected. I ordered a metal pedal and knew I was going to need a noise gate. I have since found a better choice....Joyo's pedals are true bypass. You should check them out before buying.

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

It's a plain brown wrapper noise gate for your pedal chain. Based on the plastic housing you may not want to "stomp" on it too much. However, for my purpose it works fine. Turn it on at the start of the gig. Turn it off, afterwards. It should last. Considering its price, I'm happy.

A great product like all the Behringer pedals that I own. Does exactly what I needed it to do without spending a ton of money. Very simple to use and a great value.

Comments about Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer Noise Reduction Effects Pedal:

This is a great pedal for the price and it does what it was designed for! I was kind of skeptical about buying a product from a brand that gets a lot of bad rep on many reviews I have read about this pedal and a few other products from this brand, but it turns out those rumors aren't so true about this pedal giving them more feed back than what it can take away. It worked just fine for me after having some experience with some noise compressor a while back I had this thing set up and ready to play. I guess those critics of this pedal must not know how to set up a pedal or they have bad luck with getting bad gear. It's a little heavy for plastic, but that's why I don't recommend that you stomp on this pedal. All you have to do is press on it to turn it on and leave it on until you're finished playing. Over all I am proud I've purchased this, quiets my distortion that fizzes on my amp, but it's not to be used on the clean channel. The pedal is supposed to lower noise which the clean channel doesn't have. Thank Behringer!

this works just as good as a boss ns1 at 3/4's the price! cancels out the hum from my boss ds1 and my mxr full bore metal without effecting tone. i love it. i was looking to get a boss ns1 until i stummbled on this in my music store. got it home, cranked my pedals to 10 and absolutley nothing. silence! i paired mine with a nady he1 and its great. even with my mxr dyna comp and full bore metall all the way up, i get peace and quiet.
