This Behringer PH9 Classic 90-Degree Phase Shifter
is awesome for the money I have an MXR EVH Phase 90 which I use live and the Behringer sounds better !!!!! yes blows my mind, its 3 times cheaper I love the fullness for live more pronounced, a must for guitarist, Love my ph9. I leant mine to my buddy and never got it back lmao!!!!!! had to buy another no big deal its cheap with great tone. what guitarist use is like fashion of today its in and out who cares!!!!! its all about tone doesnt matter what the price is its all in the fingers, high quality or junk you can still make junk sound like a million $$$$ tone. For me I take the PH9 over my EVH cheers

Comments about Behringer PH9 Classic 90-Degree Phase Shifter Guitar Effects Pedal:

This is a great quality small natural sounding phaser pedal thats cheap
and will only mug up your chain if not in the right place and other pedals aren't necceserally true bypass too and (if you have 2 or more)
but messing around with it and alterating other effects pedals at the same time selectively is the best option and learning where to fit it in your rig

Comments about Behringer PH9 Classic 90-Degree Phase Shifter Guitar Effects Pedal:

I bought this little guy after seeing some Youtube videos demonstrating it, and I was even more impressed with it when I actually got to use it. This is marketed as a copy of the Phase 90 pedal, and I think it holds it's own really well! It is a mild 90 degree phase shifter (duh)that will help you model alot of the Van Halen stuff from their earlier albums. I have played this pedal alot since getting it, and have had no problems at all with it. It is solidly built with a metal case believe it or not! I should mention though that the on off switch is not the positive snapping heavy duty switch, but rather it is just a plunger that hits a pcb mounted switch. Not a big deal to me, but it don't have the same "pop" when you hit it. Also it is worth noting that this, like all cheaper pedals is not a true bypass when it is deactivated, so if that is important to you, you should set up a seperate signal path on your pedal board. I still can't recommend this enough! Worth every penny!
