My amp just showed up today. I can't believe the value! This is one of the best sounding amps I've ever heard. It may have some of the best features I've ever seen on an amp under ****. After about a minute out of the box, all I could say was wow! The sound is so crystal clear. You can tweak all the presets. The possibilities are endless. The build is so solid and looks, feels and sounds like a much more expensive amp. I played a line 6 amp which sot about $1200 that wasn't any better. Some people have been saying they are getting Shark speakers instead of Jensen. Well, mine came with Jensen and as I said it's brand new. I went through most of the 99 presets tonight. With the tweaks you can do, you get alot more than 99... maybe 3 or 4 times that. The foot switch works great. I also own a Line 6 POD. I'll use that when I'm on the clean channel, which will give me another huge amount of effects. I'll go back and fourth between clean with POD and effects channel. I also have a wah, though I think the wah effects of the amp are great and can be tweaked to my taste. The number of connections you get are awesome, record to tape, playback devices, external speakers, damn! I rate this AMP a 10 in all areas.. I repeat... WOW!

Not only have I had to bring this amp in three times for repairs, but the sound is utterly horrid. It has this tinny sound and every note nearly hurts my ears because of it. It's lowend sucks no matter how high you crank the bass or chorus effects.

the price is reasonable for its features and it gives quality sound specially in my live performance.
I found this amp to have a lot of potential but I work full time and it really need the FCB1010 Controller Board to unlock ALL its potential. Most of the effects are very useful after adjustment(the others SUCK). It needs the ability to switch to the MID BOOST. And why do most all amps not come with a cover now days?
In 1963 I purchased a Ephiphone olympic Deluxe stratocaster style electric Guitar, over $200.00,allso bought a used gibson Skylark reverb amp, totaled about $250.00. Not to long ago I puchased a Washburn acoustic amp, about $110.00. This amp is unbeleivable. I don't know what to say except "unbeleivable". This thing, look's great' built tough, more features then you need. I wish, I could play up to this amps quality. Sound from clean to what ever. Wish I had this year's ago. Thank's,Thank's' and more thank's. I check your site every day. I ordered it on a friday night, received it 10:30AM, monday morning. Thanks to you and UPS.
Its a great amp, sounds good, built solid, and fun effects. Its just to bad you can't have more than one selected effect at a time. But the diversity of the effects makes up for that in part. I wanted an amp that would give great clean sound to moderately distorted sound, and good overdrive. This amp met all my expectations.
I have had my GX-212 for about two years now. I play twice a week at various locations. This thing works great. Very versatile, plenty of power, easy to hook-up to the "house" system when I need to. Quality is excellent. Can't figure-out how they do such a great job, with great quality, for such a low price. The only thing that could be improved is the handbook.
You get power, tone, effects, versatilityand looks. Try to find a 2x12 120 watt combo with built in effects and stereo and see what the price tag is. This combo sounds great especially on the clean channel with chorus and/or reverb . If you really want the "new" gain sounds this amp will not provide them but for my tastes the "mild distortion" is just fine. The 2x12 Jensen speakers deliver a full tone through my Fender American Series Strat. You also get plenty of connection options if that`s what you are looking for. Again you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.I am very happy with mine. This site delivered mine in four days in perfect condition.I love it.
dont buy it. its not loud at all and has really bad distortion.
I bought this amp primarily for its low price tag but was astonished by its quality and value. The effects could be better, but other than that I have no complaints. If I had a choice I'd buy it again.
Excellent clean tone. Internal effects are decent- a bit limited in what you can combine or adjust. Distortion is a bit weak, but not awful. This thing really puts out a lot of sound. Overall, better sound and value than most amps 2 to 3 times the price.
I'ved been playing guitar for almost 30 years now and this is the first time I can get the sound I always wanted from a guitar(tube) amp and at about any volume level I tried.Well first the clean side is clean and sightly crunchy, that's fine, just what I need. But On the overdrive Channel that's where the magic start's.the overdrive section is just amazing,I'ved heard some upper harmonics never heard before on a guitar amp and the flexibility is just fantastic, the morphing knob is just about the greatest thing a guitarist could ask for, this give's you the tonal flexibility I never heard before, you gotta' try this amp and give you some time to find your sound, believe me it's worth the try.the only sad side is not bein' able to foot switch the Mid boost but hey! that's not too hard to make or replace with a pedal, and at that price it's a gift for musicians,it's about the same price I paid for my Peavey "classic 50" in 1977 but it's so much more versatile.I also had Marshall's and Fender's,I use a 1991 fender Strat ultra and it just blew me away...:)
