OVERVIEW

An essential piece gear that goes above and beyond the capabilities of ordinary tuners.

No matter what kind of tuning you prefer, the Behringer Chromatic Tuner TU300 can accommodate you! That's because this crucial stompbox gives you three guitar modes (regular, flat, double flat), three bass modes (regular, flat, double flat) and a chromatic setting. Whether you stay in standard tuning, detune, or tune to an exotic tuning of your own design, the TU300 will get you there quickly and accurately.

To begin tuning, simply stomp the TU300's footswitch. The Single-digit LED display shows which note it's reading and the 11-point stream guarantees accurate tuning. TU300's super-briht display panel makes it easy to tune even in the darkest club.

The main Out jack allows you to cut the signal to your amp while you tune, or you can send a constant signal from the Bypass output. The status LED tells you when the TU300 box is activated and the solid electronic on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode.

FEATURES
  • Precise 7-segment LED and 11-point Stream Meter guarantee accurate tuning
  • Reference tone adjustable from 438 Hz to 447 Hz
  • Mute/bypass function for silent tuning
  • 7 different tuning modes including Regular, Flat, Double Flat and Chromatic mode
  • Status LED for effect on/off and battery check
  • Runs on 9V battery or the Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included)
  • First-class electronic on/off switch

As a bass player I am disappoisappointed

I play a 4 string B-E-A-D bass, and it doesn't pick up the B string at all. 5 and 6 string bass players will likely be similarly disappointed.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

I have had one of these for a couple of years and use it all the time at rehearsals and performances. It is reliable. On the down side it is a bit slow on picking up the signal (takes about a second or two), but nothing I can't live with. At times recently it has been a little dicey. Like not picking up the G string for a little bit. I was thinking that it was going out. Then I was trouble shooting a new peddle build, and I was using the power adapter that I had purchased with the peddle. I couldn't get stable meter readings. A first I thought it was the circuit but then I pulled the power adapter and checked it. The voltage in my 9v adapter was going all over the place and never up to 9v. I replaced the adapter and all of the sudden the tuner has settled right out. I know that it's cheep but I have been using it for years and I'm just as in tune as the other people in the band with more expensive tuners. Do yourself a favor and get a good 9v adapter to run this and rock on.

This thing is the worst tuner I have ever even seen. Anything below Db and this thing will not pick it up. If you try to use the pass through feature it just sounds like hot diarrhea.

I like the weight of the pedal. Also the feel of the switch under foot. Very positive cut off when engaged for tuning. Bought as a replacement for a more expensive tuner and this is easier to see and read on stage. Good job Berringer.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

I play in a variety band almost every weekend. I needed a solid reliable tuner and I found the TU300 more than meets my needs. I have used the more popular brand pedal tuner and feature for feature this tuner is on equal ground. My band plays in flat tuning and I play Spector and Washburn 5 string basses and an Olympia 4 string Acoustic bass. I have no issue with tuning any of my basses to standard 440 or to flat or double flat tuning. The TU300 has several negative reviews but in all honesty I can find no issue with this tuner! I've used the chromatic as well as guitar and bass settings with equal ease. Great price and I bought a returned unit to boot! I have used everything from a pitch pipe and tuning fork to the top of the line rack tuners and this works just as well for performance as any other option for me.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

Good tuner for the price. Only used it In chromatic mode with guitar. Haven't tried it with a bass yet so don't know if other complaints about the pedal not recognizing low E on bass are true. Of course, you should use the 12th fret harmonic to tune with anyway and seems to me that would eliminate the problem altogether. May not be accurate enough for setting intonation but haven't tried that yet. Might do fine. It's intent is to be at the start of your effects chain and it does its job.

Wonderful pedal for the price. I play several instruments, but bass is my primary. The tuner was only effective for the first two to three strings (I use a 5 string). Overall its a great pedal for a great price! I love you.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

I picked this tuner for its ability to mute the signal during tuning. It picks up decently and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I use a power supply so I can't comment on battery life. For the price I don't believe you'll find a better pedal tuner with a mute function.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

Good budget tuner. Definitely not the top of the market. Takes a second or two for the pedal to recognize the note but definatly worth picking up. As long as you don't stomp on this hard it wont break. Battery life is a little short. I recommend using a 9v adapter instead.
