I have this cabinet about two years now. It is solid, very reliable and sounds great. Its got a great bottom end and is very punchy. It is not a typical 4x10 cabinet, it is slightly bigger. This thing pounds. The only downfall is that its about 100 lbs. I put mine on a movers dolly and it solved the problem when transporting into and out of shows. It fits into my backseat with no problems at all (Ford Focus). I can honestly say that for the price, quality and sound you just cant beat it. I play regularly on weekends and this thing comes with me to every show. I am powering it with an Ampeg PF-500. On the small and medium sized venues I use the cabinet and play straight out. On the larger shows I use it for stage volume. Im not saying you cant use it at larger venue but when you have monster subwoofers why push it. Remember it is a 4 ohm cabinet. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market looking to get a 4x10 cab. You wont be sorry.

Behringer blows! (in a good way)

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

My only complaint about the cabs are the weight and the fact that there is no option to add casters, however thats the price you pay for good sound. They are responsive and punchy. I honestly have no complaints other than the weight. each cab probably weighs 120lbs (estimating). I play all types of music from pop/rock to metal and these cabs are everything I need. I will never buy another cabinet until I am old and cannot lift the weight.
the speakon connection in the rear of the cabinet is essential for high wattage current. and these things are tanks, heavy and reliable, they move air and I love it!
I own two of these bad boys, which I use in a full stack and let me tell you they move some air. i've played many ampegs and these cabs blow them out of the water in terms of volume and reliability. I gig quite a bit and have no issues with reliability.
you cannot get any 1200 watt handling cab for this price. in reality most 1200 watt cabs fizzle out at somewhere around 800 watts. i've monobridged on cab and get every bit of that power its simply amazing and the price is awsome. Great value!

    Best I've had.
    Excellent features
It can be abused and is A O.K.
Ampeg and Mesa Boogie should be ashamed at what they charge compared to this. It's better than both of these.

    Behringer Ultrabass 2x10 Bass Cab

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

alright- first off, like the title says, i've got the 2x10 & not this big monster, so I'll tell you about that, then imagine that times 2, because that's what you'll get!I've heard bad things about Behringer such as their products are crap, or if they break it's next to impossible to get it fixed since they're not an american company. With that in mind, I haven't had a single problem with my cab since I bought it almost 6 years ago now!!! Most of the time, it's hooked up to a GK 400RB head, but lately I've been using a HUGE SWR 700, and handles like a dream!ALWAS being asked to turn down by the rest of the band at practice & shows... this thing can REALLY bring some bass! The model I have also has the tweeter for the high's, the same handles, and the two little wheels on the bottom. I do wish the wheels were bigger or something, because you REALLY gotta bend to roll it... kind of inconvenient, but i'll still roll before I carry if i can!Honestly, I've had no problems AT ALL. I've used it in a semi-touring punk band the whole time, & equipment doesn't always get the best treatment in small clubs & rowdy basements.Even in a larger bar, the 2x10 is more than enough. But through all of the abuse, all that's wrong is there might be a tiny hole in the carpet covering, and one of the handles is scuffed from setting it up sideways- and the only problem with doing that, is that the handles aren't recessed, so the cab won't stand up perfectly straight, but that's how I've ALWAYS used it, setting my amp on top & going to town. never fell over or anything like that. XLR & 1/4" jacks & a hard attack on/off switch, so no matter what amp you've got, you shouldn't have a problem with the BB410 at all. I know sound is also amp dependent, but this cab really sounds good, and is a great deal for the cash or ANYONE ON A BUDGET!!!Honestly, I didn't think it was going to last this long, & it's the best cab I've had hands down (only had a couple though...).I really don't think you'll be disappointed at all. And if you are, return it. I'm not big on some of Behringer's products, but you really can't go wrong with this one. One Last thing- if you play anywhere where things tend to get thrown around, this will survive bottles, cans, and probably armageddon too! GREAT price, durable, and LOUD!

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

I've had several bass cabinets in my 11 years of playing and none were better than this one. My Behringer blows my previous cabinets away. It has a rich puchy sound that can handle the lows of my Six string Ibanez tuned to drop G. I thought these people were crazy when I saw the price for a 1200 watts . It's no joke. Buy this!!!

This thing came to me well protected, and in excellent condition! I am using it with Peavey's BAM head, and so far the windows beg for mercey! Love the horn and all the growl this baby gives me-even with my 5 string! Superb cabinet for bass to be whatever you want it to be... I use this in combonation with the BB115 for a full stack of in your face bass- a true working man's cabinet!

The Ultrabass BB410 cabinet coupled with the Behringer 4500 head is nothing short of awesome! I have an older model Kustom 200 head & 2 2-15" cabs w/JBL's,and I thought that setup was pretty good, but this Behringer "half stack" Matched it in sheer volume output!! DEFINITELY Recommended!

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

ITS HEAVY!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED!! The wheels on the side are annoying to use so invest in casters. Handle are slightly low but ok. Its a massive porker but do not fear. Every pound is filled with intense power and handling capabilities. I use a Bugera BVP5500 550W Valve Bass Head with this baby, and considering the speakers are bugera, I'm getting pure bugera sound out of this baby. I can tell you this baby is worth every penny. You never have to worry about having enough head room. Its loud with your knobs turned low and gives you a serious rush of power, the power you can literally feel from tip to toe through your body, when you crank it. Buy casters with it, that is all I recommend.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

I was interested in buying a cabinet after my ampeg blew because I pushed it too hard. This cabinet will handle ANYTHING I throw at it! I love how during a performance, I don't have to worry about cranking on my volume knob because I know that this will handle it. The only reason I give it a 9 on features is that it does not have an impedence switch on the back, so its always 4 ohms. However the tone is always warm and VERY punchy.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

Please understand, I mean the following with the utmost respect to my fellow bassists. There is a lot that I have learned through my years of playing that I would have never known without some constructive critisism... A bassist wrote that a low power amplifier blew this ginormous 1200 w cabinet. This makes since, considering you were feeding the cabinet too little. You were starving it to death, and in response, it died! You have to feed a cabinet at the RMS rating (minimum) in order to get best performance out of the cab. The Behringer amp designed for this cab is 500w, so I'm assuming the RMS is 500w. If you're feeding the cab less than that, you will blow the speakers.I haven't played through this cab yet, but I have heard and read a lot of good things about it. Don't buy the aluminum cone speakers (Hartke is the only company that does this well). If you're curious (as I am), buy it and try it. Musician's Friend will let you return it and get your money back if you don't like it...I hope we're all still friends. :) Peace!

This cab is so awesome. My neighbor has it and we play it a lot. It is one of the best bass amps ever. And it's cheap! Man the price is amazing. This thing has very smooth tone. Great for all kinds of bass playing. I don't even play bass that much and it makes me sound good. If you want a good, cheap cab get this thing now.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

I've owned this cabinet and the BB450H head for about 6 months or so now. I've played gigs with them, I haven't done any recording yet, and I use it a few times a week during rehearsal. We are a band that plays LOUD- My guitar players own a 5150II and a Madison Divinity - and I can definately drown them both out with plenty of headroom to spare. It handles the volume and low end EXTREMELY well, doesn't fart or make lots of unsettling noise.Great tone. Cuts through the mix quite well. I use a Boss ODB Bass Overdrive with very dry settings, just for a bit of dirty tone, and it sounds great.Overall I'm very happy with both the cabinet and the amp. Next I'll get the 1x15!

This is a nice cab. Not the best but worth the money! The only complaint I have is the tweeter has a hiss, but it has a switch in the back to turn it off so that dont really bother me. Over all it is a great cab no matter if you play by yourself or with a band.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BB410 1200W 4x10 Bass Cabinet:

The Ups: I've hasd this cab for a couple of years now. I've used it with a couple different heads as well. Through all of my playing it has definately done its job. In my last two bands I have been told to turn it down, both guitarists using powerful amps. The Downs: The wheels are only useful on hard floors such as wood or tile, maybe even concrete. The input jack on the back of the cab is plastic and broke very easily.All-In-All: Completely worth the price. You can't go wrong.

For a 4x10, this thing handles a low B amazingly well, even with my BX3000t's Ultrabass function. Silky smooth tone, plenty of attack, handles anything you can throw at it. Keeps up with any guitar, and extremely versatile. Great for all styles and tastes. Very well built, and the value is through the roof. Poop in a can man must be reviewing his head. Excellent cab. it pounds hard when you need it and has great warm tone. I run a hartke LH1000 with this cab and together this combo sounds awesome! the wheels make it awkward to move around and necessitates the use of casters, but for the cost of the cab versus how it sounds makes its totally worth it. great worthwhile investment. high recommend this cab for people that want great tone for a reasonable price.
