I'll have to say: although Behringer isn't the best of the best out there, they certainly know how to back a punch into budget equipment...and without a shadow of a doubt, can be considered one of the pioneers of mass-producing pro equipment. This little Behringer 60W bass amp is small and light enough to consider as a practice amp in some regards, but it's loud and filling enough to use at small gigs: not to mention the handy shaping tool on the dial board (a really useful feature). Along with two input jacks, 4-band EQ, tape-in RCA's, effects loop input, headphone out, and recording line out, this amp in my opinion is worth way way more than the measly 150 bucks. Some slightly critical comments: yes, it's rugged yet light- but gives the impression that this amp CAN NOT be thrown around (you shouldn't maltreat your equipment anyway, kids)- so I would not consider this worthy of surviving a 4-foot drop to a slab of concrete. The sound is clean and well pronounced, but I would rather have one of their aluminum-cone speakers installed. It would also be wise to pick up a decent rack-compressor to really get the best sound out of this, but I would consider such an optional purchase. With all things considered, it's a more than decent value; I have not been disappointed yet, and would advise anyone to pick it up without much hesitation.

I had this amp and loved it. it was loud enough for our practice space and the dual inputs let me use a keyboard in it at the same time which was sweet. then one day, unplugging from input 1, the bolt of the input fell off (must've been stripped even though it was never moved) and the jack fell inside the amp. i relied on input 2 for a little while, but a week or so later, it would just make a blaring noise when i turned it on and no matter the settings on my bass or the amp, continued to make the sound at full volume. behringer contacts were very unhelpful, not only did they take over 2 weeks to reply to me but they basically told me i would just have to buy a new one cause i'm too far from a repair place.

I bought this amp a while back when my old crate amp gave out. I must say, since then this amp has been awesome! I play a six string Austin, and this amp handles the Low-end and High-end notes with no problems. I've played a few small shows with this amp and it keeps up with the boys in the band quite well. Overall it's an awesome amp.
I was VERY surprised when I got this. A great deal on a nice high quality amp. Powerful enough for smaller venues. Very high build quality. I love the tolex covering. I am really turned off by the ozite/carpet covering on so many amps. Everything sticks to them. This is a real nice machine. Get yourself one !!
I really like this amp, i got it on clearance so i cant complaini usually play with the shape all the way up and when i practice i put it at liek a onebut when im jamming with my band i can hear it easily on 5, over two 120 watt guitar amps and a drum set, the sounds are good but i have nothing to compare it with, its kinda heavy especially for my scrawny guitarist but for me its not an issue, its awesome with my fender jag bass, since that really does all the tone work the amp just needs to amp, the eq is really good and its cool to turn the bass all the way up and pretend like u are a dub bassist hahaha i play progressive alt rock and funk so yea i guess it works great the handle is a little annoying but the amp is sick, i wish that there was a place for the chord mine always drags around and its kinda wierd having a passive and active imput they sound totally different even when my bass is flipped to active i use t6he passive side, no worries tho it works great i love it.
Just got the BX600. Got it out of the box, and within moments, I was jamming! The tone features are quite amazing for an amp of this size, and watt rating. It is quite loud, and punchy. Makes my bass sound better than ever. This is my in-home practice rig, and it is serving me well indeed! It is hefty, beefy, and all-around worth far more than the economicly amazing price I paid for it. A true bargain! BUY IT!
i have had this amp for a while the features are very good it can make your bass sound very clear, or even a sick distortion, this amp has some kick too! i never expected it to be that loud on 1/4 volume it shakes stuff of my dresser
I'm very pleased with this amp. It has a great quality sound. I play with my band and I have no trouble being heard. It's great for the price and it's great!
Ive been playing on this amp fo a while now, and I'm really impressed! I'm the bassist for our church's band, and theres no need to mic the amp over the P.A!Some complaint, theres alot of hiss when you turn the volue way up, and the handle is very stupid, it's very uncomfortable to carry around.Great punchy tone with an effective EQ. It almost never distorts. On the vaue for money I cant say anything because I didnt buy it :)
12-inches and this thing needs a 15" at least I have had this amp now for 2-yrs. It has never went down on me and it works very well until the volume gets 2/3's up to full then the speaker gives a little rattle and distorts, and not the type of distortion one would like either, I used it in the studio and for smaller venues under 200 people or less, for the money, it's a great buy, and it does fine with the bass guitar and a 6-string electric guitar, I've even had a Keyboard plugged into this amp and it seemed great even above 2/3's volume with keys. Its' like it was made for keys as that showed me awesome tone and projection, but all in all if it had a bigger speaker it would be perfect, but as it is, it still rates a 9-overall.
I take bass lessons and my awesome bass teacher uses this all the time. He uses all kinds of effects connected to this thing and its works fine. I only own a 15 watt johnson amp that could never work on a show. My teacher let me borrow it and i used it for a school talent show. I put it on 3 and it was enough for the whole show. Great amp
this amp has a good deal of power and killer tone, my friend owns this and i played on it for a few hours and i can really be herd over the drum kit my friend was playing; so, plenty of power. got good features i dont use the shape much cuz i like the twang for the rock tone.
