This is the best $60 I ever spent. Not only does it have good sound, even with the volume set high, but I accidentally discovered you can, via the CD input, add another instrument if it has a pickup with its own volume! I don't know if this is recommended, but it has not hurt mine. So our trio can actually get by with one of these for a party gig where we don't need a full large PA. My guitar with a volume control pickup goes in the CD input, the fiddle and flute go into the other two. It is so handy I bought a second one for the times we may add a few more people to the band! I rarely use the large PA anymore. You can also get very creative and run a small mixer into it, with full effects, more channels etc. and use it as a speaker basically. You can even do a record out with a cheap small mixer attached! Plus get phantom power if the mixer has it. No more lugging the large PA for me, unless it's a very serious concert type setting. I love these, and have passed the info along to others doing small gigs. They couldn't believe they'd be good for the small price, but they are. One of these things in life that is too good to be true but is!

I was looking for an inexpensive amp that had dual inputs. I am just starting out on acoustic guitar and wanted an amp I could plug a mic into and sing along. This amp provided just that. However, I was not able to get the exact sound out of the amp that I was looking for. Everything seemed to be without any bass or bottom. I worked with the settings for a while but was just unable to get a solid sound from the set-up. I did try different guitars as well. Anyway, I ended up sending the amp back. What a shame as it was a nice looking amp and had the features I was looking for. If only the sound was more full. I ended up trying a different amp (Acoustic AG30) and that thing defintely has the solid sound I am looking for. Only drawback is the price is about 2-3 times more that the AT108.

Comments about Behringer Ultracoustic AT108 Acoustic Combo Amp:

As a folksinger/guitarist there are gigs with mid-sized audiences where playing straight acoustic is inadequate and my large acoustic amp (60+lbs) is overkill and inconvenient to lug around. Recently I was invited to play at a street festival with ten musical booths scattered up and down the street and access from parking meant a long hike to the booth. So I searched among all the small guitar or bass only amps for a small acoustic amp with mike and guitar inputs; the Behringer Ultracoustic fit the bill. The free shipping made Musician's Friend the most economical choice among all the online suppliers. It was ideal for the venue: plenty of good clean sound and easy to carry. There was one listener who was stopped in his tracks and remarked on how good the sound was from such a small amp.
The only inadequacy found was the screws that hold on the back plate; they are too short and with slight pressure they popped out. Repair was easy; just replace the original short screws with one inch screws for a solidly attached back plate.

Great little amp, sound quality is good with both guitar & mike pluged in.This is perfect for home use and playing small places. The only thing that I would have liked is a reverb setting but for the price I payed, I can't complain.I have done some home recording with it and found no issues with this product. My Martin AE sounds great thru this.

Comments about Behringer Ultracoustic AT108 Acoustic Combo Amp:

This amp works well for what it was intended for. The ipod connection is a little soft but it does work. It distorts at higher bass volumes with my classical guitar, but I would expect that. It can only do so much with the size of speaker it has but it is all I need. My steel string sounds great at all volumes. Overall, it's definetely worth the $$$ I spent.

Great product for the price. I was looking for an amp for small performances with just the guitar and a mic and this fits the bill. My guitar sounded fuller and it blended well with the mic with minimal adjustments in the settings.

I like Behringer products, and own several. This amp met all expectations. I was dismayed to see it on sale, for more than twenty less than I paid, when I came to the review page. A call to Musicians Friend and within three minutes the difference was credited back to me. Thanks Behringer for a great product, and thanks Musician's Friend for great customer service.

My wife and I play as a duo. She needed to mic her banjo to keep it from getting lost in the mix. We use the Kustom Personal PA for our vocals and have a larger pa for larger venues. The Behringer is a perfect match with the small pa. Clean and crisp sound with more power than you would expect for a 20 watt amp. Sounds great for micing, vocals or guitar. Don't spend a lot of money on a Roland Cube or something similar - if you need a one man setup for coffee shop gigs or for practice this little guy is more than adequate. I got mine used but would consider this a bargain at full price too.

I started playing mandolin in a celtic band. I use it for practise sessions as I have trouble hearing myself play over other acoustic instruments. It is very portable and faithfully reproduces the sound of the mandolin. I use the instrument input. I have not used the mic input yet. It is a great amp for the money. The only negative is feedback if I get too close to it
