Perfect practice or warm-up amp for aspiring and accomplished guitarists.
The Behringer Virtube VT 15FX guitar combo amp is armed with 15W, a custom-designed eight inch Bugera speaker and 16 digital effects. The secret behind Virtube's sound is the VTC Tube Modeling processor that exudes the very essence of tube saturation and compression. Virtube amps have split personalities, one that features dulcent-clean output and one that drives your tone with an aggressive punch.
Virtube's Clean channel is elegant in its simplicity. The sound is open and uncolored and can be tailored to your needs by Volume and the analog passive equalizer. The Overdrive channel features Gain, Volume, Bass, Treble and Contour control. All this versatility enables you to artfully define your dream tone, fron traditional to scooped modern and anything in-between.
The VT15FX features a 24-bit digital effects processor with 16 great-sounding reverbs, choruses, flangers and delays. This includes room, stage, concert and cathedral reverbs, slap-back and medium echoes, two long delays, plus slow and fast modulation effects--all at your fingertips.
It takes a special speaker to handle all this incredible technology, tone and brutal output power. That's why the VT15FX has handmade, heavy-duty Bugera Vintage Guitar speakers. Each is custom-designed and handcrafted specifically for the Virtube Series and are ideally suited for classic sound reproduction.
The PHONES/LINE OUT B jack can be used to send your guitar signal to another amp or mixer. When the PHONES/LINE OUT B jack is in use, the internal loudspeaker is muted, allowing you to crank your guitar into the wee morning hours, without bothering the neighbors. If you'd like to play along with previously recorded tracks, just plug into the CD IN/LINE OUT A jack.

Comments about Behringer Virtube VT15FX 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amplifier:
I bought this amp for a home studio project. The overdrive channel is a little noisy, but that is to be expected. The clean tone is nice and the effects can help round out the sound. If you close mike for recording, the sound is good. I'm still experimenting with the noise levels on the overdrive, may use a noise gate or run a distortion pedal off the clean tone. Overall, very loud and great for the money.
