AT first I said no way. Now I have four. I do not care for the 5 watt amp unless you are playing in a closet. But the cabinets are insane. I am using a (nameless 50 watt tube stereo mono block power amp)combined with the tone of my Vox 30 watt single ten combo and Oh what a sound. New these were stiff and unresponsive two practices later they tuned in and became a sound the members of my group are raving about, as am I. Scoop out the mids as they have their own! tone down the highs as they have harmonics way up there and trim the bass and they become the old JBL-130s. No rattle no void in the shape of the sound just a creamy greasy overtone cabinet. Tone junkies give these a try you will not be let down., I am using a true stereo set up two on each side of stage and they pierce through the rest of the band with no problems. Fit and finish, well I just can not say enough. You have to try these, out of the box they are stiff, give them a couple of hours and you will be raving too...Sad!!! sitting in the corner are my heavy, very heavy four twelve cabinets, and on stage are my four light light Blackhearts...The head for them was sold a week later......

A good buy, but check the QC.
It's a 1x12 cabinet, 16 ohm impedance, with two parallel inputs.
I bought this new along with a BH15 head. The head sounded great through a Fender Twin cabinet but terrible through this cabinet. Really terrible. No bass, totally boxy. I finally figured out why when I moved the cabinet and heard a clunking. When I took it apart, the Eminence speaker was just flopping about inside the cabinet. It had never been bolted in, just jammed in. I put in some bolts (metric, not imperial, so you might need to go to a bike store in the US) and now it sounds great.Taking it apart, it is very well built and the speaker is high quality. But if yours sounds as crappy as mine did, take off the back and check how the speaker is attached to the cabinet.
It's great value for what it is, so long as you double check the construction details.

BH112 Cabinet

By Austi

from Marietta, GA

I have owned alot of amps in the past. I currently own a Vox AC30 with Alnico Blues and the BH5 head. I used to play the BH5 head through a 2x12 cabinet with Vintage 30's but found that even at 5 watts, it was still too loud for a lot of stuff i do. I sold the 2x12 and bought this 1x12 since it matched the BH5. The cabinet was bigger than i expected (which i liked) and seemed to be built great (like the BH5 head is). The speaker so far sounds OK, not amazing. Definitely brighter than the Vintage 30's and almost shrill at times. I am hoping it will break in some as others have said and smooth out. I was planning on replacing the speaker with something from WGS. If the speaker doesn't break in anymore, i probably will. Still a great deal for the money though and looks very cool matched with the head. Thank you Blackheart for low cost quality products.
Not a whole lot to it. Just a box and a speaker and a place to plug in.
The cabinet quality is great. It is great to find a birch cabinet for so cheap (similar priced Vox cabs are crappy MDF).
Can't beat the price for what it is. You would pretty much pay the same price for just an empty cabinet (with this you get a speaker to boot!)

Got this to go with my handsome devil cabinet and it is a mini-stack made in heaven! great tone, has an output, looks great and is tough. Only wish I could justify buying two more and getting another blackheart head to switch between.perfect for anyone wanting a great 1-12 cabinet.

nice cab

By walrus

I really like the Blackheart sound and price. Power mine with a Little Giant. I agree with Hooligan, the logo is so ugly, I removed mine too. but to be different, I replaced them with phenolic logos in gold that spell out 'Belov' in Russian Cyrillic font, really looks trick and sure draws attention.

Great

I own two of these and use them with Blackheart 1 and 5 watt amps, plus others tube amps I have. Made in China, they are still a quality cabinet and a great value. A stack of two will put your head at a nice level and give you an 8-ohm load (they are 16-ohm speakers). You could play a good sized club with a couple. joel Sampson in Dallas

I have 2 of these under a handsome devil head. These cabinets compliment a great amp with one of the best blues tones I ever experienced.A great price for a top notched cabinet.

Nice little cabinet. I use the littel giant head with this cabiniet, and it keeps up with twin twelve celestions. Great value, and this thing is built like a tank. Blackheart is putting out some GREAT products.

why not?

By joe from crofton

i bought this after i bought the little giant 5W amp. for this price, and for this quality, why not? looks way cool, matches the best tube amp for the money. FINALLY, a company that sells near-boutique gear for realistic prices.
