    Astoundingly powerful and responsive.

The 15W Blackheart Handsome Devil is a combo guitar tube amp designed and prototyped in a one-car garage in Austin, Texas, by amp savant, Pyotr Belov. The Handsome Devil combo amp evokes classic tube tones reminiscent of the great American and British amplifiers. Those were the plug and play workhorses that laid the foundation for rock 'n' roll guitar tone starting in the '60s. The BHE Handsome Devil is overbuilt to last with features and components you'd expect on a hand-built, much more expensive piece of gear.

Features dual power modes allowing the gods of rock to dial in responsiveness and headroom in either 15W or 7W output. Separate Master and Level controls put both awesome power and responsibility in the unwashed hands of mankind. 3 Bands of well-tuned EQ make for nearly infinite voicing. From big fat overdrive to plucky, just-about-to-squeal if you hit me a little harder grease, the Handsome Devil covers classic tube tone with as few knob turns as possible through a well thought out set of features in a tank-tough package.

Loaded with a 12" Blackheart Model 1216A Speaker by Eminence with American Voicing, optimized for the open back cabinet.

As expected, you get the simple elegance and robust component specs that mark BHE's designs. From 1W, carbon-film resistors in the signal path to beefy, double sided pcb with 2 oz. traces, 16 gauge, precision folded and welded chassis and mutli-ply, classically joined cabinetry, Blackheart is as serious about quality as they are about tone.

Hang out with the big man of tube tone. Call or click today to order.

      Great Amp!

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Bought this after checking out a lot of online reviews on youtube and other places. Got it because it's lighter than my old amp as well as being a tube amp, which I've wanted for awhile. Great tone and just overall quality. Haven't switched out tubes yet, might not for awhile. I'm not an awesome guitar god yet but this amp makes me feel like one. plenty loud enough for our worship teams venue, a medium sized lounge. usually don't even turn up past 1/4 volume. great product and I ordered a blackheart 12" speaker cab so I can have a nice little stack!

      Amazing.

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I went to a music store the other day, looking for the perfect amp for my needs. I mostly play at home, sometimes with a few friends, so I didn't need a huge amp. But I guess this could also be mic'd and I see this can be connected to external speakers so I guess this amp is great for everything. I wanted an all-tube amp, one that has that great warm tone and sweet overdrive. And this is it. I can't tell you how much I LOVE this amp. The tone from this one is just perfect. I tried other tube amps (Fender, Marshall) and believe it or not, I liked this more. I guess this is just the perfect tone for me... I then tried it out with an Ibanez Tube Screamer and the tone was ahhhhhh mmmm yeaaaaahhhh... (: But you have to keep in mind of course, that tone is subjective. Od yeah, and don't forget, tube amps like these don't distort so well. So maybe not perfect if you're into metal. Perfect for everything else, though. I'm probably going to buy it next week. If you want that great tube tone, and you don't have 10 000 $ to spend, try checking out this amp. Even if you have some negative prejudice about this amp (which I doubt), still try it out. Try.

tons of tone in a small package

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I wouldn't be suprised if this amp made its way into the rigs of professional artists across the world as time goes on. The tone is absolutely killer! it sounds really good stock, but swap out the tubes and add one of several available mods (found online) and this thing is practically untouchable for the price. I gave it a 4 on features because it lacks an effects loop and reverb, HOWEVER, the triode/pentode switch is an awesome feature. i can get very good cleans, up to classic hard rock tones (think Aerosmith and AC/DC). You'd be hard pressed to find an amp of this quality for this price (even with new tubes and mods!). This amp is loud enough for rehearsal space, can be cranked and mic'd for live settings, and has the capability to be hooked up to extra cabs if thats your desire. This won't be the perfect amp for everyone, but its the perfect amp for me. I am know proud to say that my heart is black. Blackheart amps rock!!P.S. if the lack of reverb bothers you, use your savings to get a good pedal!

      Please but some technical problems

      By thelastpiece

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought two of these to run stereo out of an ovation preacher deluxe guitar. I was pleased with them and the tone improved a lot when I replaced the stock preamp tubes. They are plenty loud enough to play over the drums. They don't play nice with all effects pedals though. I ended up replacing my distortion pedals to work better with the amps. After about 3 months one of the amps started crackling, cutting in and out and it appears the input jack is going bad. All the speaker jacks seem to be poor quality as well. Somehow I am still completely pleased with my purchase though. I like them better than the Marshall JCM 2000 DSL, JCM 900 and Peavy 5150 that I used to have and they are much easier to transport.

      Delivers but...

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I played this amp a few times at a local music store. It's a good practice amp, and its pretty quiet for studio use if you want to crank it and get that overdriven power amp sound. If you like blues, classic, or softer rock it's not bad; however, after owning a 5150 and 50w superlead the gain structure sounds thin and frail. It's loud enough to play bars but I'd worry about the head room if you like chimey cleans and it wont project very well with only one speaker. Good amp for the money if you're a hobbiest who wants a tube amp but can't afford the big names. Personally I'd save up for an orange tiny terror or the new VOX 15w that's coming out in the same category.

      Bust your Ears W/ Blackheart

Comments about Blackheart BH15-112 Handsome Devil Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I just picked up one of these at my Guitar Store and at first I wasn't impressed with it. But after taking the time to tweak it add an Ibanez TS9DX Turbo Tube Screamer and an Joe Satchurator, tweakin in the effects on 3 1/2 I can hardly hear myself think. This thing is LOUD !!! Thats with only the stock speaker and I can't imagine what it's going to be like with another Cab to push. If your low on money this is a bargain and you get the more than you pay for. It does have 4 tubes but not a second channel and will need effects but they have on and off switches for clean and the clean is not to bad if you set it up before crankin on the effects. I gave this amp great reveiws because thats really what it is Great, its loud enough to be played in small Bars or gigs but buy another Cab or mic it up if you have too, Blackheart got my money and I got their Amp and its a keeper and I'm not given it back.

This Amp may be small on thrills, but for basic vintage tube sound this is the best bang for the buck!! Have had it for 4 days and can't get used to how versatile it is. Top shelf stuff!!
