Comments about Blackstar Artist Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I play in an Americana style band. So I am looking for a good tight chimey sound that can get crunchy. We only put the vocals through the PA so I need an amp that can also push a little air. This amp just did not have the focused sound I was looking for. When I tried to get a brighter sound it was frankly edgy and grating. And the low end of the amp was just flabby in my opinion.

Comments about Blackstar Artist Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

This amp is killer! I've heard many boutique style amps double the price that don't sound as good as this!

You can go from crystal cleans which sound fantastic with the built in reverb to low gain crunch.

It's an extremely responsive amplifier and its also very light and robust so can imagine it would handle gigging with ease! Volume wise, it's loud for a 15 watt single 12" combo!

Comments about Blackstar Artist Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I play in a function band so need a great clean tone for my pedal board. After reading positive reviews about the Blackstar I took the plunge and have been very happy with it's performance.

Comments about Blackstar Artist Series 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Greetings. I watche Rob Chapman and the Captain review this amp and thought it was what I needed. Got one in the other day and oops! I was wrong. First off the clean channel sounded just ok. To polished and
fake sounding I guess because of the hybrid thing going on. It sounded more like a modelling amp. Then the gain channel, not enough saturation. It was designned for a 70s sound. But this thing does not even get close. Plus the cabinet is too big and its a cod strainer. Anyway I sent it back . This may work for someone else but not me. Try it out before you buy it and dont order until you tried one out.
