A versatile head with advanced tone-shaping capabilities and a cab that pump out face-melting sound.
The Blackstone HT-50 Stack is a package that includes an HT Club 50 Head and an HTV-412 Cabinet.
HT Club 50 Head
The Blackstone Venue Series HT Club 50 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head offers the same feature set as the HT Club 40 combo in a versatile head format. This two channel head is equally at home in the rehearsal room, studio or club size venue. With the patented ISF control and clean or overdrive channels ranging from 'classic crunch' to 'super saturated lead' the HT Club 50 head truly is the ultimate amp for the gigging guitarist.
The HT Club 50 is a highly versatile amplifier suited to a wide range of playing styles and situations.
The Clean Channel has two modes, ‘boutique’ and ‘modern’ and its own Tone control provides a wide range of clean tones. The Voice switch reconfigures both the preamplifier voicing and gain structure, and the power amplifier damping, to reproduce either ringing Class A Performance in the ‘boutique’ mode, or very clean and tight Class AB tones in the ‘modern’ setting.
The Overdrive Channel has its own EQ section and a Voice switch which allows the character of the channel to be changed, providing a wide variety of overdriven tones. The channel is characterised by a tone which is high in gain, but lacks any of the detached top-end ‘fizz’ often found in similar designs. This is a result of unique preamplifier and power amplifier shaping techniques, which also benefit the player in the way the overdrive cleans up beautifully as the guitar volume is reduced. Even at the most extreme settings, the overdrive channel remains natural sounding.
The patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control is unique to Blackstar Amplification and represents a major step forward in tone shaping flexibility. The ISF control shifts the response of the three control tone stack between a US type response at one end, and at the other a UK type response. Importantly, in between the two extremes lie an infinite number of alternative tone choices that would be otherwise unavailable.
The HT Club 50 also features a completely natural sounding digital reverb, which is musical on both clean and crunch tones and raises the benchmark for guitar amplifier specific reverb design. A Dark/Bright switch allows the overall reverb characteristics to be modified to suit different tastes and playing styles.
Thought your guitar tone couldn't sound any better? Just plug in this behemoth of an extension cabinet from Blackstar's Venue Series and prepare for heart-stopping guitar tone. The incredible extended power and projection pushes your 6-string sound into the realm of colossal tone.
The secret lies in the Blackstar speaker cab's design, which uses 4 - 12" Celestion loudspeakers, along with 16-ohm mono/2x8-Ohm stereo impedance, and a whopping 320 watt power allowance, all in a rugged Blackstar structure.
The Blackstar HTV-112 guitar speaker cabinet has been voiced to work with the HT Venue amplifiers, as well as a wide range of other products. All Blackstar cabs have finger-locked (comb) joints, heavy-duty wiring, and a cool vintage styling so you sound good and look killer in the process.

Comments about Blackstar HT-50 Stack:
Extremely satisfied with this amp. I play lead guitar in a melodic post hardcore band, and it handles everything from magnificent cleans to ear splitting overdrive. It's more than loud enough to compete with my drummer, and our rhythm guitarist who plays a 150 watt Marshall 2x10 combo.
If you are playing a guitar with passive pickups, (I play 2 Schecters with duncan designed passives) you might wish to add a clean boost or OD pedal to your signal chain to get the appropriate tone. Expect to spend a few minutes getting your desired tone, as it has a wide range of options. Personally, I use the ISF control and EQ to produce a mesa type sound.
I would recommend this to any guitarist looking for excellent tube tone at a reasonable price.
