I use several FV-300L for my keyboard rigs. Before I bought the first one I compared it with a Korg and an earlier Boss pedal and the 300L was the winner by far. Firstly the signal that went through the pedal had a much better sound quality and it was louder as well. What means the built in potentiometer has a better quality. Secondly it is just that heafy to prevent it from sliding over the stage floor when in use. Thirdly the volume control for the lowest volume level works perfectly, what means if you spin that knob to zero und you turn the pedal to zero there´s absolutely no signal. That shouldn´t be taken for granted. Forthly the in/out-jacks are at the front which is much more convenient than if they were at both sides (like Korg) and at last the pedal is built like a tank. So - this is a great piece of gear.

Don't waste your time with any other pedal. I've had mine about 4 years and never a problem. Plain and simple... this one is it. It has all you need, it's quiet and it works. What else can you say about a volume pedal.
the minimum volume knob is nice. you could turn it all the way up with the pedal down, then for a lead, kick the pedal all the way up and increase volume. Word of advice: this pedal cuts greatly in volume when hooked up because of the spring. TAKE OUT THE SPRING, IT'S POINTLESS!
I've been using three of these on a Broadway show, and each one has had a physical malfunction: the screw that tensions the pedal works loose and falls out, leaving a pedal that falls to max position when you take your foot off. Incredibly unreliable!
zero noise, great feel, tough as nails.
I purchased this pedal nearly four years ago. It always works great, very dependable. I love the minimum volume, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it.
I bought this pedal to serve as an organ expression pedal for my Nord Electro 2. I used it weekly since spring of '03 and enjoyed its capability to hold a volume level after taking my foot off the pedal. It worked great for 1 1/2 years. Now it's shot. If I move my foot off the pedal while I'm still holding a note, the pedal will "flop" down loosely to the loudest position. I had a guy look at it and he said that I might as well buy a new one.
