A hot little performer for garage and bedroom extravaganzas!
It looks different from your run-of-the-mill low-end practice amps and it IS different. 10W produce a surprising amount of volume from the 6" speaker mounted in a closed-back cab that maximizes punch. The 2-band EQ and Drive switch let you tweak tone and generate distortion and overdrive. The cool cosmetics include heavy metal knobs with knurled grips, a metal speaker grille, metal corners and handle caps, and a brushed metal control panel with a bright red X pilot light. The headphone out keeps the cops at bay during late night sessions.

I bought this thing about half a year ago just for a practice amp. It works fine when it works, and has some decent sound for such a small amp... However I just plugged into it today and the speaker is blown, and I never play with it more than a 1/4 of the way up on volume. So that really sucks, and it had no signs of messing up other than today, I guess thats what happens when its made in China.
I got this piece of junk for a christmas gift along with a squier strat(which is a very good beginner guiatr). At low volume 3-4 the sound is clean. If you go any louder it gets to fuzzy and sounds terrible! The distortion is even worse! You can go higher then 4-5 distortion with out getting an annoying buzz over powering your own sound! The quality is just as bad. the Starp will come undone under its own wait!! The place where you plug in a headphone jack or cable. A small meatl ring will pop out causing unbelievable crackling!Buy something else!
