OVERVIEW

Vintage tone, modern versaility”The Bugera 333-212 120W combo amplifier is ready for every gig.

The hand-built Bugera 333-212 120W all-tube combo offers dual Bugera 12" speakers and 3 channels for maximum versatility, each with high-quality reverb, FX Loop, and 3-band EQ. This cutting-edge, modern style amp effectively handles everything from super-clean chording to high-gain leads, thanks to its 3-channels, aptly named Clean, Crunch and Lead.

The Clean channel won't break up, making it perfect for jazz, country and blues. Plus, it's the ideal channel for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion.

The Crunch channel is ideal for rock and dirty blues tone. Plus, it shines as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig if you really crank the gain.

Last but not least, the amp's Lead channel has the same structure as the crunch channel but with access to even more gain.

Each of the 333's channels has its own volume feeding the overall master volume, so you have total control over the level of each. The boost option of the FX loop allows you to set each channel at the same volume and then boost or cut the volume of the entire amp no matter what channel is selected.

Some other outstanding features of the Bugera 333 include a damping switch (high, medium, low) for total sound control, an impedance switch (4, 8 and 16 ohms) to match virtually any speaker cabinet, an FX Loop with independent send and return level controls, and a line output with dedicated level control.

The EQ section, called HYPER-ACTIVE, allows for unlimited tone shaping and big, scooped-out metal tones via the midrange control. You have to hear this to appreciate how much more tone control you can get.

Finally, the Bugera 333 includes a heavy-duty 4-button footswitch that allows you to easily select your channel, and quickly boost the FX loop when desired.
And that's the 333-312”3 fully independent channels for 3 fully independent gain structures and tone stacks.

This model does not feature Infinium technology.

own the 6262 and now the 333. both provide ANY tone i could possibly use. both have been trouble free. both are full of usable features. both are almost free. corksniffers hate it when cheap amps sound as good as their $3000 amps but i say "get over it". tone is tone.

I really wanted to like and keep this amp.
within a few days of having this amp, the power indicator light went out and then a few days later the standby light went out. The amp runs very hot. It was very quiet at first but after about two or three gigs it started to get more and more noisey. The knobs were a cheap plastic. I did not expect to much because of the price of the amp. When the second indicator light went out, I said to myself I really need to send this amplifier back. The final straw was when I tried to scrape something off one of the corners and the silver started to come off.

what a beast! 3 channels, all independent eq's insane levels of distortion[if you want]can go from twin to boogie in a heartbeat.4 6l6s and 4 12ax7s, still playing with settings to get where I want to be.
havent had the volume up past 4[with a full band] what does that tell you? built like a tank, footswitch has 4 settings, clean, crunch, lead and boost/effects loop, which is nice.
some speed bumps with the first 2,hence the 4 star rating, but muscians friends made it all ok as they alway do.
for the working muscian on a budget, you cant beat this.as far as longevity,I will update in a few gigs

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I would love to say it's a great amp, but the one I received wouldn't power up straight out of the box. I've heard sound clips and if it works it sounds good. Kind of has to work first, though. I'll be returning mine to see if I can get one that does. Definitely seems to be a reliability and quality control issue with this amp.

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Although I love this great amp... I can see why Behringer/Bugera got rid of these models and opened up the Infinium line. Mine arrived okay, sounded great, specially the clean channel, but as soon as I decided to keep it, it ceased to work and had to return it. I think it was probably was a "b" stock, since it did not came packed in its original factory-to-retail boxing. Maybe that's why they are on sale...

After reading lay reviews and videos regarding this model, it reminded me when the xbox 360 came out and had problems with darn "ring of fire" after a short while. Micrsoft ended up revaping its line of 360's about the same timeline after problems arised.

Hopefully I'll get a good exchange this time...

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I am completely disappointed with this amp. I had to exchange it THREE TIMES and not even the third one worked. First time, it broke after two days, second time, it didn't even turn on out of the box, third time, it worked for one day.

I am extremely upset as well, because there is no other amp that actually sounds really good (hence the one star I gave it) for this price range. Apparently there is a reason for that, this amp is absolute garbage. Musician's Friend customer support was on the other side very sympathetic and helpful, providing free shipping for each time I returned it, but still, don't get this amp. Save up money and get something that will last more than a week.

Got the Bugera 333 212 120w. Played nicely out of the box. Played at volume 1 and 1/2 for about half an hour.was good. The next day, less time aok. Third day amp was ok for about 10 minutes then died. Fuse blown. Sent back to Musicians friend and received another. This one played but one of the tubes was glowing purple. I shut it off. Turned it on again and this time it crackled, all 6l6 tubes were bright purple and then amp shut down, at volume 1. Fuse blew. Seems like bad components from beheringer. nice sounding amp when it works. Unreliable.

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Just as the previous reviewer, when I received mine (after being on a backorder for about a month) as soon as I powered it on smoke rolled out the back. Was I frustrated? Yes, to say the least, BUT as always Musicians Friend was right on top of it and sent me another. When this one arrived, all was right in the world. This amp is LOUD, but even at low volumes sounds great. Lots of options, but let me suggest something... when it arrived the impedance was set to 4 ohms. I called and a gearhead told me it didn't matter because it was a combo and that only matters if you connect an external cab. I didn't buy it because it sounded a little muddy, so I called Bugera support and asked them. They told me that the speakers are wired in series, and MUST be set to 16 ohms. (4 ohms isn't going to hurt it really, but not a good idea) once I changed it to 16 ohms, the sound improved. I also recommed finding your ideal volume and messing with the damping switch too as it adjusts cone response (low = loose and lots of movement where high = tight and responses are tight), that's a freebie as I had to look that up and found no info anywhere except in the dark corners of the interwebs. :-)

All in all, this is a great amp, and yes, there are some duds out there, but a good one is a great sound machine. I play this amp with my 2014 Les Paul Studio Pro and an ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000, and I can get AC/DC or GNR sounds all the way up to Metallica and FFDP style sounds!

Casters are a must as this combo weighs in excess of 65 lbs. I have played over 40 years and have owned a bunch of gear. This amp sparkles. I play a PRS, A Dean Explorer, a Mexican Strat, and so on. Really a Bassist but like to play! The sound and versatility of this combo amp is truly a pleasant suprise. The clean channel is as good as I have heard from a twin 12" combo (think Fender and Masa".) some do not like the control knobs because they are bright plastic. True but the control potd are smooth and well weighted. Most important: I am having FUN!!!! Buy this thing OK?
