Take your tone anywhere from dignified blues to garage-leveling madness.

The stunning Bugera V22 1x12 Tube Combo Amp not only exudes unbelievable sound, but this 22W amplifier also possesses modern flourishes capable of taking it to any corner of the musical landscape. Perfect for practice, home recording, or small club gigs, the Bugera V22 is a loud lad that channels its mojo from 2 EL84 power tubes. These give it the bratty, breakup-prone power amp compression—especially in the its triode mode—its 6L6GC-equipped siblings can only achieve at high volumes.

The Bugera V22 gives you everything that antique amps deliver—without the bloated price tags. Don't be fooled, though; the V22 tube amp packs a special feature that makes it much more than a tribute to the early days of guitar amplification. To explain, we must take a quick step back in time . . .

Before greasy juvenile delinquents hijacked the blues, guitar amps generally came in 2 species: those with triode (having 3 active electrodes) power valves and those with pentode (containing 5 active electrodes) power tubes. Triode valves, which came before pentodes, provide what a lot of guitarists describe as a "gentler" tone. Pentodes, on the other hand, are decidedly more "in-your-face." The Bugera V22 combo is built for power pentode tubes, but that doesn't mean you have to settle for a singular pentode personality. This Bugera amp includes a Mode switch for you to operate the power section as if it had triode tubes—at roughly 40 percent less power. So what'll it be today—old-school or oldest-school?

The sound of the Bugera V22 tube combo begins with a 2-channel (Clean and Lead) preamp. Plug into either the Bright or Normal inputs, then adjust the 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Presence control to create a sound all your own. Its 3 12AX7 preamp tubes provide the V22 amp with a feast of fuzz. The dual EL84 valves in the power stage propel its terse cockney tone through a Bugera 12" speaker.

If you need to feed more speakers, the V22 amp's Impedance switch adjusts it to 4, 8 or 16 Ohms—which gives it compatibility with just about any speaker cabinet you can find. You also get reverb, but for utmost durability and sound, this classic effect is derived from a professional quality digital processor. The spring reverb found in antique amps sounded great, but they're delicate and expensive to repair. This modern touch on the V22 gives you a vintage sounding reverb sound that's every bit as beautiful, but a million times less breakable. And if all these features weren't enough, you also get an incredibly durable footswitch to select channels and engage the reverb without stopping mid-show.

Whether you're making a record, practicing, or paying your dues on the dive bar circuit, the Bugera V22 Tube Combo Amp complements your guitar-craft with the gold-standard tones of the past—today!

Ordered this on Saturday, and received the amp on Tuesday. really fast shipping. Came nicely pacakged. Turned it on as the instructions stated how to do so(yes I read instructions). And this thing is better than advertised. Nice clean channel and the crunch channel is a vintage sound....incredible sound. Not your metal head amp, but a nice Aerosmith(70's) meets Led Zepplin sound.

I play a vintage Tele a Deluxe Strat, a Gibson SG and an Ibanez Artcore, this amp doesn't do any of them a dis-service. At band volume it's clear and cuts really well through the mix and at quieter volumes has a really nice creamy warmth in the triode mode. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any player and in my opinion it just may be the best recording amp to come down the pipe in a long time. I've owned Fender, Traynor and Mesa amplification and this stands alongside all of those.
What more could you ask, the reverb is excellent and has amazing depth, the clean channel is sparkly with no harsh and when you kick this little jewel into the gain/lead channels it compresses, growls and crunches with the best of them.
So far so good in the 7 months I've had it, whether at a practice, gig or just fooling around it's never had a breakdown which seems to be the common complaint for Bugera/Behringer. The controls are sensitive enough that you can really hear the difference between a 3 and 4 or a 8 or 9 setting
Once the word gets out, they'll sky-rocket in price which is always sad, I can hardly wait for the Magician to make it into the market. 85 watts of crazy and I'm going to own one as soon as they're available

        Warm round brown sound period. The EQ is very musical, the speaker sounds great, retro look is cool. You can read about a musical purchase forever but you cant get a feel for it ,so I was reluctant to mail order the box I get my tone from,but rest easy, this should say "Twin" on it somewhere! Or JCM something or other except it isnt nearly as noisy as that British M thingie {honestly , they sound great,but who can live with all that hiss?}Run, repeat, Run to the phone and order this before the price doubles (to match anything else this good }

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Got this amp cause of good stuff I heard on you tube. This amp says 22 watts but more like 80 watts on stage. I have a egnater speaker cab 112 that matches it. I will use it as a stack amp like and the great sound it has I tried out at a friends house and wow it sounds great and killer the reverb is awesome this is like a fender sound. I mainly want it 4 jazz but if I have to use it 4 blues rock and that okay it is handy but since I play Latin Jazz it will serve my purpose there this amp it a hot selling Item all stores even guitar center were out but got one that is a good thing about that I have a valve king 112 but it need a look at but plays great and will use it as back up 4 the time i get it fixed. The amp sounds great 4 the price every place has the 379.99 price and not bad 4 the money I spent 4 it I traded 2 solid states 4 it. They were 2 heavy. I had casters on them. But they were back breakers. this amp it good on me and happy 4 selecting it.It has a warm sound and that. Tubes r warmer than solid state and were 1st b-4 solid state 2.I say guys get one it is killing and killer sound. the stock speaker is awesome and the controls 2 a sturdy foot switch and all worth it try it if u liker it get 1 i did

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

All that I can say is, "WOW!!!" This has got to be the BEST deal on a tube amp that I have ever seen! I watched a ton of videos on the internet about this amp and was very impressed. The videos that I watched DO NOT do this thing justice! You can dial up anything from a Fender shimmering, clean tone to a totally BALLZY, thick distortion tone. The low end is incredible! I am using a Joyo Vintage Overdrive pedal in front of it on the clean channel and that just adds more tones to this OUTSTANDING amp! The Gain channel is so good on it's own that I don't even use the pedal on the dirty channel. It has 2 inputs for your guitar and I suggest using the NORMAL input for both humbucker and single coils. The BRIGHT channel is suggested for humbucker guitars, but I think that the NORMAL just sounds better for classic rock. The looks of the amp are a totally different issue. This amp is a real looker and built tough! I can't even put into words the true way that I feel about this amp. Just go buy it!!!

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I had played a Bugera V22 in the local music store. I fell in love with the tone of the amp. When my band mates decided to go to in ear monitors, I knew my 40 watt fender was just too loud for what we were wanting to do. I purchased this on a whim and I am very glad I did. I have a $1049 fender 65 deluxe reverb and this stays right with it. It has more features than the 65 DRR such as channel switching, master volume control, presence control and a mid control. These allow you to create a variety of sounds. This amp is 22 watts, the same as the DRR, but, uses EL 84s instead of 6V6s. Overall an incredible sound. Built good, chassis is nicely configured. I can't comment on durability as I just got mine, however I am seeing them being used in many of the local acts here in town. Bottom line, if you want a deluxe reverb sound but can't afford one try the Bugera V22. You'll be glad you did!

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Great vintage sounding amp at a good price. I prefer this rather than all the modeling software. I record with an AT2035 and an overdrive pedal from Joyo which I prefer over using the over-drive channel. Sounds good at low and high volume which is better than the V5 sibling. Not as portable as the V5 but I don't have to crank the V22 when playing softly to get good sound. My option was to buy a fender tube amp at 2 or more times the price that may sound the same or worse who knows. I love the standby switch. Only drawback is they staple the pedal box and tape. Half a dozen or so. Better to leave them in then to destroy the inside of the cabinet. It has vintage quality too. Though it's nice outside you can tell it wast glued together on the inside. I love my V22 and highly recommend it. For outside venues you may consider the 50 watt sibling. Even though this is very loud.

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Fabulous clean sound with my Ibanez A93 (custom 58 replica pickups). Beautiful sound on the dirty channel with my Fender Modern Player (Tele neck and Strat pickups engaged). No reason to cook the amp like the V5 sibling to get good tone. Originally ordered a used V5 which had a bad tube which was sputtering then upgraded to the V22 which runs cooler but with the same warm tone. The V22 sounds better at lower volumes and on par if not better when turning it up. I need this amp to record with my AT2035 microphone. It's wonderful to listen to it. I nearly bought the Fender Super Champ XD which was about the same price. Though I haven't heard the Fender, I'm not even curious anymore since this is an awesome amp. The only drawback is that they stapled the foot pedal and tape to the inside of the cabinet. Pulling the staples out damages the parcel board slightly. Overall the finish is pretty basic. Looks like it's constructed well, but don't be too picky because you'll see some overlapped glue inside. Nice vintage amp. I love it!

Comments about Bugera V22 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I primarily use this amp at church for worship and as a backup for gigs with my band, with a bunch of effects in front of it, and the V22 handles it well!

When I bought this amp, I had done lots of reading due to the negative stigma that comes with the name of Bugera's distributors, Behringer. I unboxed the amp without much expectation, and was surprised right away. Experienced friends had told me the amp was functional, but I'd need to replace tubes and the speaker.

The tone of the amp was actually very solid, and the functionality of having three bands of EQ and Presence available to two channels is just awesome for this price. I don't really use the onboard reverb, but that's a cool little bonus too. Even though I initially planned on replacing the speaker, I am actually very pleased with it. I definitely did have to replace all of the tubes (the stock ones went sour within weeks of first use), but the low price of the amp allowed me to spend on some high quality replacements, and the amp totally sings now. Very satisfied!
