Unbelievably rich sound and ultra-quiet operation are the strengths of this quality pedal. Also, it functions essentially as 2 pedals, with 2 identical but independent sets of speed and depth controls, each with its own LED that flashes according to speed setting. A Select switch lets you change settings mid song.

Better than the TC

By Ozzmageddan

Comments about Carl Martin Chorus XII Pedal:

you heard me correct. This magic box makes the TC chorus sound sterile. made by the man that designed the TC it is much richer and I find the sound much more useful. I'm so glad I bought this instead. I've had a few TC chorus so I know. Also 2 chorus settings in one box and the speed ramps up and down like a leslie nice. It is pricey but you will smile ear to ear every time your using it. In short this is the best chorus I have ever heard.

Comments about Carl Martin Chorus XII Pedal:

This has been a staple on my pedal board for 12 years. Love that it has two settings. I have one set for a mild chorus that I leave on continuously and the other I have set for extreme. This setting gets me that great organ Schofield vibrato sound. I have tried numerous Chorus pedals and none have been able to match this Carl Martin for sound quality. I also love that I don't have to bend over and change the settings between songs too... I'm lazy.

Comments about Carl Martin Chorus XII Pedal:

I've always thought that the chorus on the old ADA MP-1 and the Gallien-Krueger 250rl/250ml/2000cpl were the best I'd ever heard. I haven't been able to find any chorus out there that could come close.

Found this guy beat up and used and landed on it like a Sumo Wrestler after hearing Michael Thompson demo one... beautiful! Rich, dark, thick lush and a huge stereo separation.

I run it from the line out of my Theta Preamp, into an ADA GCS-2 cabinet emulator, into the Carl Martin Chorus XII into a Lexicon MPX-1 and it's incredible.

I HIGHLY recommend it. Sounds great on cleans and super high gains. Could not be happier. Worth every cent.
