I will soon start gigging with my band, as we have just completed our first album. Up until now I've been carrying my pedals around to our drummer's house in a crappy little plastic bag, and the reason I've stalled so long on buying a pedalboard is because there are so many options. However, I've always longed for one of these. I have a coffin case for my guitar and now i just need one for my pedals to complete the set. My current pedal line-up is a boss stompbox tuner, mxr 10-band eq, rocktron metal planet, digidelay and a turbo flange pedal. I have all the effects I see myself using, and I don't plan on updating my line-up anytime soon. From the looks of the loaded pedalboard, I think my pedals would fit just perfectly inside. The only thing that concerns me is the whole latex thing; how exactly do your pedals stick inside? Etc. Otherwise, I'm really looking to buy this case.
ive owned a few pedal boards, 1 of which i made myself, and let me tell you, this thing has more space then all of them. i have 4 normal boss pedals (metal zone, OD/distortion, tremelo, eq), a dunlop wah wah and a digitech bp-50 and i still have more space! i could still put mabe 4 more boss pedals on there if they were close together. my only concern is if you have a wah and a volume, you may have to: a) cut out a place on the end OR b) place it on the out side of the board. the aluminum feels kinda thin, but ive played a few gigs since december when i got it and i have band practice 2 times a week and practice by myself everyday. when its in the "band bus" (aka my moms mini van) i feel my pedals are not going to get damaged. very good product
This case gets the looks, and the quality is pretty good too. The main problem, though, is that the pedals move around because it doesn't have velcro. And my Crybaby only fits in the middle. But, it's a great case and I think that so many musicians can discriminate against you just because your pedalboard looks like a coffin, but they don't know the durability of it, and it is a must get, even if you don't play earth-thundering rock, because it is sweet!!!!
This Pedal board is very good but the only thing is that it is kinda small and you need the other side of velcro but other than that it works awesome its road tough and it looks SICK!
I really like the look, but the features make it totally worth the cash.
First off, it looks killer! It's worth buying just for the comments you get: "is that a violin", "is that for your cat", etc... The zipper on the top is kinda cheap, I can only zip it one way otherwise it splits open like a bad pair of jeans. Also, the edges are slightly cracked. I can live with all that, but jeez...it's TINY. It took some planning to get what I had to fit and I had to measure before buying. From right to left it holds my tuner, wah, blues, crunch, volume, and there MAY be room for one more, but that's it. My Ernie Ball volume pedal wouldn't fit, so I ended up getting a BOSS (not to mention my wah only fits in one location).
Simple, Coffin Cases look B.A. Not to mention very durable.
Great features and built very well. I've only had this case for about a month; however, it has withstood the test. Looks great and is very functionable. Only complaint...didn't come with velcro, had to go buy own. Just an overall great product.
Very nice coffin case. Simple yet functional!
