It's well made & I love the wooden angelboard for the pedals, though I do wish thay had use a wee bit thicker wood. Still, the upward angle makes it easier to access the stomp boxes footswitches especially if you place one in front of the other. In my case I removed the 2 screws that secures the angleboard in place, & using a 1.25" hole saw cut one hole on the top of the board, for wires to pass through, and 3 other holes in front for air circulation and put all my wall-warts underneath the slanted angleboard and secured it back down. All incoming wires/cables come in and leave from the top hole, no fuss or mess. The velcro isn't too bad but I also used Ideal brand screw-mount cable ties to secure down all my pedals as well. I slid one cable-tie in the other and thus have a place for two 3/4x10 sheet metal screws to secure my pedals down - 1 screw on each side. I also cut small 3/4" wide strips of the supplied velcro to use as cable guides to help secure down the few guitar cables that need to be run on top. Power cables and cords leaving the pedalboard have been bundled together so at the nights end I simply coil it all up, put the over on and I'm done. With a little planning it is a very convienent pedalboard. Does not slide around when I am stepping on the stompboxes regardless of the surface. I'm very happy with it.

Don't waste your time on this product. I did, and I regret it. I returned the smaller size case after thinking it would be good for my bass pedals set up. The size wasn't the problem. The lack of quality is a problem. I received the product damaged and upon further inspection realized this is not a quality product. The factory used brittle plastic (it cracked off) instead of rubber "feet" on the the rear panel (this you would use when the case is closed and standing on end). Also, there isn't a storage pocket of any kind in the top portion of the cover. This means your extra wires will be flopping around on top of your pedals or you will have to carry another case. That defeats the purpose of having the one pedalboard case. I saw the product in one music store and the hinges were mis-aligned and the case wouldn't close. So, I guess "quality control" isn't high on the list at Core Products. Save your money & get a better quality case that will last and avoid the aggravation.

I bought the core one pedal board, mostly because of cost. It seems very durable, I mean there isn`t much to a pedal board!!
ok, first off it does look cool, but i use it more for like transporting pedals instead of a "pedal board" because of 2 main facts: it has no power supply, and if you buy the shorter version, all your wahs and stuff will be on the ground anyways. pretty kewl, good for the money, and just something good to start with if ya don't have a good backpack to get them from point a to b. But BUY THE LONG ONE, it's worth the money to be able to fit all your pedals onto it.
I have two of these - I carry a lot of pedals. For the money, it does a fine job. I use industrial grade velcro on the bottom of my pedals and they never move. I use a separate power source - I carry a slide & some junk in the power compartment. It's not super heavy duty, but it's certainly not bad.
I got the smaller version, and overall I'm pleased with it. Its is by no means a case that would hold up to the torture of a roadie in a hurry, the diamond plate is very thin tin or aluminum. and the frame and hardware is equally made lightweight. BUT, This is a great case for the person that handles & transports their own equipment. This is a good case to keep my expensive pedals out of harms way and organised as long as I'm careful. For the price, Its worth it
This is a great pedal board. If you are just taking it from your house to a show. It works and looks sweet you cant go wrong with it. I never had a problem with my pedals sticking with velcro. Im a bass player and I love this pedal board.
this is one cool pedalboard case. i am usuing it for a legend 21 pedalboard. i think that as every person has different set-ups, the user may need to do minor modifications to make it work for them. it may not survive the samsonite gorilla, but if you take care of it, it will serve most applications. it has a great look to it.
When I bought it, I wasn't sure if it would be good because of the reviews. But after putting my pedals and using it in travel I am very pleased with it. The only thing is velcro dont work. What I did is put a little piece of foam at the top and since the my pedals haven't scratch or broken. Other than that it looks super awesome and made of hard steel.
I own two core cases. I love the ease of transporting my effects with out worrying if my RP-1 and 12 will be in one piece and good working order when I get to the gig or practice. I just wish the made it 16 inches instead of 12".Plus it looks stylish and performes it's duty so well. I am very pleased!
no power supply is great, the finish is pretty cool seems very durable. I needed an inexpensive versitile pedal case and not an expensive bag.
it's cool, it's so much better than doing the gig bag thing.it can hold quite a few pedals to. i use 7 boss size pedals and still have room for a voodoolab pedalpro 2, and a vht line driver. i just wish it was built stronger, but it is a great deal for the money.
