I read all the reviews on this and decided I had to have it. Had problems right out of the box. The tone was ok for an amp of this price range, but not as good as I expected after reading all the glowing reviews. Once I found an acceptable sound, added a little reverb, that is when the trouble began. It added so much noise that is was unusable. Sent it back. I have better amps, was just curious because of the reviews. Not worth your effort. Save your money, buy a real amp.

I bought this amp for use at my home. It has a great sound and the volume is perfect. No problems with feedback. Responds well to my Taylor 814ce. Has helped me adjust to playing acoustic electric guitars since most of my other acoustic guitars are non electric Martin dreadnoughts. Unlike some of the other amps that I have owned, this amp is a lot of fun to play. I love the response. It is also very easy to adjust. It also has a sturdy and attractive cabinet with a retro look.

This little guy is surprisingly good for its wattage and size. Good deep bass for an 8 inch speaker, smooth response. Multiple inputs make it versatile, although for lo-Z mics you'll need an impedance transformer when you plug in - a cheap accessory that you should have anyway. No feedback notch filter, which I can't expect at this price point. For an acoustic gig for less than 80 folks, this thing will work just fine. I actually preferred the sound of this amp to its bigger brother, the CA30, as well as to the Roland AC60 and Marshall AS50D - obviously a personal taste thing.

I was forever looking for a cheap amp that would support vocals and a vintage piano for practicing or very small gigs. My tight budget didn't allow me to go for the Roland AC-90 that I was eying.A guy in a music store recommended me Crate Amps and I have to say - how lucky was I. The CA15 has reverb, two line and 1 RCA input, it only lacks a balanced mic input (too bad). It is robust, and I LOVE the bass this amp has! The sound is very satisfying for such a small amp. The built-in reverb is decent and saves me money as well. It is a little on the heavier side, but still compact enough to carry around easily. I made the mistake to buy a Behringer AT108 before and gave it back right away after it started rattling and shaking. Get this one instead.

I've played threww crate amps from the time I bought my first guitar and 20 years later it is the only brand of amp I will get they are the best and this amp is no diffrent! Pick one up you will love it!

I borrowed this amp from a friend for two performances last summer, playing a hand-built grand concert sized acoustic with a Macintosh feather pickup. Amazingly good sound, simple to use, very easy to carry around. Worked well in a quiet room, although I'd probably want more power in a noisier venue. I rated it a little lower for features because it has few of them . . . that could be a big advantage, as well, for its simplicity. Great amp for the price. Why pay more?

This is truly a great amp. The price can't be beat, and it sounds great. It gets very loud with the combined volume of amp and guitar, and it proveides a quality acoustic sound. I use it with my Takamine all the time, and it just sings. Overall, a great amp.
