This is a nice amp! Don't know what the last guy was talking about, because I am very happy with this purchase.First of all, you have to realize that acoustic amps are different than an electric guitar amp. Although tone is important to both, in an acoustic amp you are looking to recreate your guitar's live tone, only louder (at least that's what I want.) It takes some time and patience to find the right settings, and this amp has them. You not only have control of low mid and high, but this amp allows you to tweak your tweeter setting! This makes a huge difference in setting the sound reproduction. And it also seems much louder than a sixty watt amp! On top of all that, this amp has a connection out for another speaker, can go direct to a pa, can be used as a monitor. I am very impressed with this Crate product, am happy about my purchase, and recommend it.

I've owned this amp for about 4 months and absolutely love it. I have two acoustics with different pickups and both sound wonderful through this amp. I've also found that my old vintage "Silvertone 1448" sounds amazing (its amp also still works - crazy). The feature set and sound quality are excellent. Great job Crate!

This amp is absolutely amazing. I purchased it form my local music store. However it is not the amp that I intended to buy. I went there to buy a Fender acoustasonic 30 DSP. When I got there I and compared the amps side by side the choice was clear...BUY THE CRATE!!! Not only does the Crate come with more features, such as: XLR and 1/4" line out, included footswitch, external speaker out, 30 additional watts of power, and it sounds better, it was $50 cheaper than the Fender at the store...I think it is $30 cheaper here!!!Speaking of the external speaker out, I had assumed that this thing would power an additional 12" speaker...maybe. I was completely wrong. I have 2 Yamaha BR15M PA speakers each rated at 400 watts RMS. I plugged on in and not only did it power the speaker it sounded better than using the amp alone...so I hooked up the other one..again the amp powered it. This thing will power 2 Yamaha 15" PA speakers with room to spare (I only have the master volume up not even half way!!) and it sounds amazing. Alone this amp is really really powerful...hook it up to some decent external speakers and the sound improves (which was hard to imagine in the first place)...I was dead set on the Fender Acoustasonic series...thank God my local store carries both Fender and Crate!!!BUY THIS AMP!!!

I play this amp with a Takamine Jumbo. At first I had a hard time finding the sound I wanted, my problem was trying to marry the Guitar's Equalizer with the Amp's. I finally put everything to Zero and adjusted the Amp. Wow...AWESOME SOUND. I can adjust my Low, mid, and High on my Guitar as needed. I also programed a set effects on the foot petal and really like that feature. I play at a Church that runs close to 200 ppl, we have Keyboards, Piano, and Drums running through the House System. This Amp Keeps up with them just fine. I have not even turned it up much past 1/2 way yet. The only problem I have had so far was feed back, (Especially when I hit an A Chord??) The amp has 2 feed back filters built in, but I still battled roar and feed back...(Yes I am close to the amp) Anyway I bought a Sound Hole Plug and it took care of the feed back 100%. Hey this amp, has Some POWER, Clairty, and you will not be disappointed.

After owning a Trace ta-100 reverb for many years and paying about a grand for it,I decided it was time for a change. This crate blew it away for less than half the price. Much stronger deeper tone.

I have had the amp for a year now and have used it performing in coffee shops (mostly bluegrass/fingerpicking) with a Martin Acoustic Electric. I have been using a semi-hollow Gretsch lately with it. I have found that the amp fits both bills. I can keep the pure acoustic sound of my Martin but it has enough effects to play jazz or rock with my Gretsch. The volume is perfect for a small coffee shop performance. It's a very high quality and sturdy amp. The only difficulty I am having is figuring out the foot switch.. but that might be an "operator malfunction". I recommend trying this one out.

I had an arch top guitar made for me to the same dimensions as an Ibanez GB-10 but I had feedback problems through my Polytone MiniBrute II. After a lengthy amplifier search, playing through many acoustic amps, i.e.: Fishman, Custom, Roland, Marshall, I found the one amp with the feedback control I needed, the CRATE CA6110. It has the power output sound of a 75 watt amp, great features such as a full set of independent channel controls each channel, wonderful effects, CD player input with volume control and a foot switch that can control the 'all important' feedback filters as well as switch between 2 effects. At 37lb it is a fantastic amp at a great price.

So, I bought this amp a few months ago and I was blown away by the sound of this thing. It seems kind of limited on the effects (in which I don't care) so if your into effects I would buy the 100 watt one. But the effects that are already on there are very good. This amp is also probably one of the most durable amps (for a smaller one) that I've ever had. But I couldn't beat this amp for it's price and I think it is worth the money. So pretty much it sounds great, it's nice and sturdy, and the price is right!

The Gunnison is a nice transparent sounding amp for your acoustic guitar. It doesn't color your sound too much, just makes your acoustic louder. The effects that are thrown in, are actually a lot of fun too. This amp is loud enough to keep up with a drummer in small settings, and can always be sent to a pa if need be.

I tested this amp side by side with a Marshall AS50R and a Roland AC-60. I brought my Epiphone AJ18SCE, Ovation CC057 and Shure SM48 mic for the test. I quickly dismissed the Roland because of sound quality and features. The Marshall is a great amp and you couldn't go wrong with either but what sold me on the Crate was POWER. Although the Marshall is rated at 50 watts compared to the Crate's 60, the Crate was much, much louder. Even with it's 2 8" speakers the Marshall couldn't come close to the Crate's 10" speaker/tweeter combination. Crystal clear at high volumes sold me. This Crate is an excellent value with professional quality, every feature you could possibly want or need, and pristine amplification at unbelieveable volumes. Great amp, great price. You won't be dissappointed.
