I bought a Crate BX50 DLX a few years ago. The only problem I had with this box was it didn't seem to switch between the 2 channels too well. My buddy a guitar tech, showed me the problem. When I bought this amp, I was handed a single ringed 1/4 (mono) cable. What activates the 2 channel switching is using a double ringed 1/4 (stereo) cable. It works fine and I've never had any problem since. I use normal foot pressure and I don't stomp on it like "Bigfoot" would if he played bass. Nor do I fly threw the air like Rocky the flying Squirrel or Pete Townsend headed towards the ground foot first on top of the box. For what it's worth, this box rocks! If the folks at Crate put this inside a more bullet proof type housing then this thing would be 5.0 in my book. It's still a great product and value for the money.

If you own a Crate FXT 30 this pedal is a must. A lot easier for step on the switch as opposed to pressing a button on the amp. Especially in the middle of a song. Plus it's the easiest way to cut off the effects if they aren't needed. I've been using it for over a month with no problems but then I don't have a heavy foot when I press the buttons. A good buy for the price.

This is a good pedal for a beginner.... I use this for my bass guitar and my electric... it does it's job. I'm impressed on how long it has lasted me. The only thing is that... the second switch doesn't work anymore, but I never used the second one anyways... I only use the first one. But overall it's a pretty damn good pedal!!

This footswitch is very good for playing at venues, the quality comes in very good and makes the guitar sound more hard rock and sound with perfect clean channel when needed. I recommend it!

EVERY Crate footswitch I've ever even so much as looked at went belly up within a few weeks. Plastic garbage!
