This is my first amp, and I've owned this for five months, and id have to say it was a good investment. It has lots of power and great-sounding, versatile tone. The 16 DSP effects are pretty cool, I especially like the flange/delay setting, however you can't control the effect parameters, just the level. Another good feature is the footswitch jack which allows you to switch channels and effects on or off. For the price its very reasonable; I love it, and considering what I've done to it it'll probably last forever. If you are looking for more options and power output I might consider looking at the Behringer V-AMP or V-tones. All in all a good product.

i bought this amp thinking it was a decent bargain with good sound and it was cheaper than a comparable Marshall. After several monthes I have realized my mistake. The clean is nice as long as you keep the output of your pickups turned down, otherwise it gets dirty, which can sound ok sometimes if thats what you want. But the dirty channel is just crap. I can't find a nice crunchy sound without losing all tone. The distorion is pretty much just muddy all over. Also, whenever i crank the volume up past 5 for more than a few minuets, the amp begins to smell like something is burning, which i assure you is a little it alarming the first few times. I will say however it is probubly about as a nice an amp as you can expect for the money, much better than a fender frontman. However this summer will be spent saving up for a good ol' Marshall halfstack or valvestate.

I bought this amp 2 and a half years ago. Its well built with reinforced edges and the like. Everything is quality. As for tone, the distortion is very harsh. Sitting side by side with a fender tweed amp, this amp sounds very dry and harsh. But thats to be expected a little. This amp does feel like a tube amp, but thats the only resemblance. The DSP is great. Reverbs are lush and delays are great. The Clean channel sounds plastic-y and thin. Even with reverb, this channel sounds electronic.Overall, a newcomer would love this for its price, and they wouldnt notice that the tone was dry, but an experienced user would hate it.
Well I have been playing electric guitar for about 6 months now, and Started off with an olp mm1 which I really like and a fender frontman 15R practice amp. The guitar sounds good I ran it thru my dads peavey rage 15 because it sounded so much better than my fender, so i needed a new amp because the frontman distortion absolutly blows. I play hard rock and some metal, 311, velvet revolver, p.o.d type stuff. I bought this amp and it is a very good step up for me! The effects make it shine, the distortion really isnt that good but I run it thru my marshall jackhammer pedal and it sound REALLY GOOD!! For what they are selling it for WHAT A DEAL!!!
this is a very nice guitar amp for small jams if you want something a bit more kick try useing a crate GXLi-12 or 2-12combo at 65 watts for the 1-12or 120 watts with 2-12because you will need a more powerful amp to cut thr the drumers and i use an XL 2-12 at 120 watts with a roland BD-2 bluesdriver and a CE-5 Chorus and a little reverb to cut it up just remember that small amp are okay for small gigs like coffee houses but for the other you will need a 1-12 or 2-12 with 65 to 12o watts and tou have to remember that this is just solid state amp ...
This amp is a great practice amp. The DSP affects on it are amazing. Sure the gain isn't that good, but it's great with the affects on it. This is a great deal for an amp like this.
This amp sucks...do not buy it...the cleans are muddy and no tone at all to be found...if you dont have an eq pedal get AT LEAST a 7-band eq just to make this amp workable. The built in effects are ok...The "solo" channel (distortion) is HORRIBLE...can't get a good tone to save my life...the shape control is iseless, and the lead channel has no other tone controls...worst money I ever spent...I practice with this while I save for a good amp, but I run eq pedal, noise gate, 2 overdrives and a distortion pedal just to get a a few usable tones that dont kill my motivation.
Pros: good little starter amp for those that don't need anything too loud, has nice effects, distortion with typical crate tone.Cons: crates have indistinct and low end tone that isn't good for leads, this amp tends to breakup and vibrate when it's too loud, if your into metal and you want to jam with a drummer then just forget about being heard over the drums.I'll give it this much : it sounds awesome when the volume is halfway, but past that it is garbage. I hated the distortions tone so I bought a Digitech FX Pedal and it sounded awesome, but when I took it to play at a drummers house I was left dissapointed with results. Get this amp if your just starting but if you want to gig then look elsewere.
Make sure you turn up the levels to get the effects to produce clearly but this is a remarkable amp at only 30 watts. The only thing I wish is they would have thrown in the 2 button footswitch. I'd recommend getting it with the amp since it makes in more user friendly. You won't be disappointed with most sounds for the price you pay. It's a good buy, IMHO.
I got this amp half a year ago. It was well worth the price. The only thing that could make it better is if it included a footswitch to change from clean to overdrive. The different digital sounds such as 'Touch Wah' are awesome. You can have loads of fun with the different kinds of sound. Overall, I recommend buying this amp.
this is a great amp. i recently bought this amp for christmas, and i love it. it's got pretty good dsp, and nice clean and solo channels. It also sounds way louder than a 30 watt amp. it is also great for small gigs. i definitely suggest buying this amp.
I got this amp several months ago, and I haven't found a better one for the price. The clean and solo channels are awsome. I only think the amp should have included a footswitch to switch between the two channels. I highly recommend buying this amp.
