For the price, it's a steal. Spend 15 on this instead of 60 to 85 on the competitors overpriced city pedals (South Park pronunciation). I also am an objective journalist, and don't take money from anybody to push products, so this isn't a Danelectro planted review.
Come to think of it, I'll get around to doing a YouTube of my take on this cheap gem. It's so cheap that the couple of extra dollars for the replacement insurance is worth it. I also will try other Danelectro products.
It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and sounds great. The best way to rate features for me is to also consider how the existing features work. The Depth as a good range, and I use it on various settings, but more on full. The speed control works fine, and you can get a decent rotary sound combined with the depth. (Too much depth at speed and you get the crazy alien stuff, but that's what knobs are for.) The mix control does what it's supposed to. The reason I didn't 9 or 10 it is that a tone control on a chorus is nice, but since it's mono instead of stereo, it doesn't have the sqeamish sound of a stereo chorus (like the Boss I sold after hardly using it), but it does sound GREAT.
The one thing that bugs me is the knob vs jack placement, but for 15 bucks so what. I use straight-end instead of a 90 cable with this pedal.
Inexpensive circuitry that hasn't failed on me yet. My 8 rating is based weighing the product against the price. It obviously is not a T.C., but for the price, you get your money's worth. I've had expensive pedals fail at a cheap internal switch (Boss) more than once. It is a plastic pedal. Check reviews for odd failures like the guy with the battery. I 9v mine and it is doing fine.
Mike Campbell has an inexpensive Danelectro pedal in his chain. I have been playing cheap or sucky pedals since 1969 (in the beginning they all sucked). I am ready to add more of their products as I am good enough to use cheap pedals. I am not a pedal snob, I am anti-pedal snob. (I also use/have used expensive ones. Quality construction in electronics is worth it!)
I have had no blatant signal loss or noise issues, and I am mostly Strat single coils into good amps with bad electrical wiring at some of the old bars I play in.
For the price, you can NOT beat it. If you are a student and want to learn how to use a mono chorus, this is the ticket. My pedal board has a fifteen dollar chorus in it now instead of a hundred and fifty one. If it fails, I will replace it. I am going to get one or two more so I have one at home and one at practice. Etc.

I bought this for my little brother for his birthday because he said he had been wanting a chorus pedal and I had a rather severe budget. I've had the chance to mess with it some, and as far as I can tell, you can get two different sounds out of it: a spacey chorus sound and a vibrato setting. That's it. I've tried to get other sounds out of it, but that's all I can manage. All it will really do is add some color to your sound. There are a couple more problems I found with it. First, it hisses rather loud when plugged in, but that could just be my cruddy amp. Second, it drains the battery while plugged into the amp. It doesn't have to be on to do this. And thirdly, you lose all chorus sound when you kick on some overdrive with it. Instead you get this kinda phaser-ish effect. It sounds kinda cool in my opinion, but that's just me.Overall, if you can afford nothing else, this is an alright choice, although I've heard the Behringer pedals are better and only slightly more expensive. But if you want a good chorus effect, and you have the money to buy one, you'll be much happier with something else.

Comments about Danelectro FAB Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal:
This chorus pedal is my second one. The first one wouldn't turn on after one play, so I sent it back. The second one did the same thing so, rather than go through sending it back, I just threw it in the trash.

Comments about Danelectro FAB Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal:
This is just a chorus pedal. It's not the greatest. I wanted a much deeper chorus than this. I figured I can't loose for this cheap. I'll find a use for it. Bass guitar maybe. I'm saving for a better chorus pedal now. Too light for my taste.

Comments about Danelectro FAB Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal:
I bought this used and used it for awhile, then sold it to try some higher end choruses. Now i'm buying it again after trying Boss, Mind Bender, and delta Labs chorus and having minor issues/dislikes with all of them. This thing just works - no clipping, nice subtle chorus, and the mix knob is perfect for mixing in the right amount of chorus. I'm an experienced musician, and this is a great chorus pedal. The plastic is not cheap feeling either - pretty durable.

Comments about Danelectro FAB Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal:
This is a great pedal for the price and it goes real good with the echo pedal.
The only thing that I don't like is it has rubber on the bottom and it is hard to get velcro to stick to it for mounting to a pedal board. But other than that it is just fine.
I got this chorus pedal and the echo pedal and I plan on keeping them both.
