Comments about Dean Markley DM30RC 30W Guitar Combo Amp:

Ive owned a ton of different amps, some modeling and some real tube but I got this one to have a nice clean tone to work with pedals at bedroom volume for recording. I sold my Fender Deluxe Reverb Tube amp because I didn't need that kind of volume and this amp does nice cleans which is necessary for using pedals in my opinion. Nice little amp and it can certainly get loud if needed. The overdrive channel wasn't my cup of tea but a lead guitarist would probably like it more than I. The Spring reverb is very subtle and you hardly hear it at low volumes but then again I keep the master volume very low. The chorus effect is decent but external pedals are going to be the way to go with this amp. Very quiet amp and is easy to record on this solid state amp, unlike some tube amps like the Fender Pro Jr III. Well there you have it. There is a cool video on Youtube of an Asian guy playing this amp very nicely.

Comments about Dean Markley DM30RC 30W Guitar Combo Amp:

I have had this amp for about three weeks. It sound incredible for its size, great natural sound. true spring reverb and chourus sounds great. It sounds like it should, not processed like everything else in this price range. If you cant afford a tube amp this is the next best thing. The overdrive channel has a great blues tone and with the drive on 10 can get nasty enough. This amp is not for you death metal folks but if you play blues, classic rock and hair band it will have plenty of saturation. Ultrasound makes a great product. You can listen to a demo of this amp on youtube.

Comments about Dean Markley DM30RC 30W Guitar Combo Amp:

I like this amp overall, it is very portable amd the sound is good. The clean sound is smooth and is good for most music styles. The overdrive channel is good with the drive on 8to10 but at lower drive levels it is kind of muddy. Leads sound good as well as chunky rhythms. This amp is not as versitle as amp modeling amps and the effects are subtle. I really like this amp but I would suggest using a multi-effects pedal in front of it, that will make this amp sound the best. It is a good amp at a fair price.

This is a Fantastic Amp!!!!! A definite Winner!!!

Comments about Dean Markley DM30RC 30W Guitar Combo Amp:

The Clean channel has tone for days. The Overdrive Channel gives you that "Special" tone. It just sings to you. The Reverb sounds great and is a Spring Reverb. The Master Volume let's you play it at any volume you want, and still keep that Overdrive tone when you're in Overdrive. And its really cool looking.
I looked at every amp made (well, pretty much so. Fender, Peavey, you name it. Then I saw the Dean Markley DM30RC Combo Amp and couldn't believe how great is sounded . . . and looks!! The clean tone is changeable to any tone you want and the Overdrive is totally unbelievable!! It is a lot louder than any of the other 30W Combo amps also. It blew me away. So I ordered one and can't wait to get it. Now I know why all the reviews I have read about the Circa '80's Dean Markley amps are all raving about how great the amps are. And now he is reissuing a number of those designs. Cool!!! I already use his strings, now I'll proudly be using one of this great amps. Go Dean Markley!!!!
None of the other amps are as good as this for the money. Not even for twice the money.
