Comments about Diago PB03 Showman Pedal Board:

I had to write this review after reading the previous one. First, load the board from the other direction with the pedal switches toward the hinge side, and your problem of the latches being in the way goes away. Second, it is a flat board, so loading it up with pedals may be awkward for some. Using a compact switching system takes care of that.

BUT - a hard cover case? That protects everything and stays wired? That's a lot cheaper than most of the other 'systems' out there? That you can still lift when loaded with 11 guitar pedals, two power supplies, a programmable looper, and an aux switch? If you move your gear a bit, you want something this solid, lightweight, with reasonable capacity, easy to deal with, and portable. And it's still small enough tolerate on a small stage.

The wooden construction is good and heavy duty, the latches a solidly installed. I did lose a rubber foot once, which I screwed back on, and did have to re-glue the carpet once (after two years of use with too much Velcro on the pedals that made them impossible to remove without tearing it off). I wouldn't just _throw_ it in the truck, but it does the job.

I would say this is a solution, and just deal with its issues as they arise. All in all, I love this thing... :)

Comments about Diago PB03 Showman Pedal Board:

Got it because of the size for home recording. It is large. Not angled, which in practical use, is a negative. The latches in front do get in the way for the pedals up front, mainly because you'll notice the latches on the front are installed upside down! If they had reversed them, there would not have been a problem at all with the latch design! I'm sure that was a design "ooops!" afterthought. Pretty sturdy. You'll also find that the lack of a "wedge" shape is a disadvantage, also a design error. Otherwise, sturdy and serves it's purpose. I would have mixed feelings on recommending to a friend just because of the design issues.

Comments about Diago PB03 Showman Pedal Board:

I debated between this and a few other boards, and this won for me, hands-down. It's versatile, sharp looking, and protects my ever-growing collection of pedals. I'm very easily able to fit 9 pedals on it right now (including a EB Volume pedal) and the channel switch for my DeVille. I don't know how well it'd fit a power supply, but I am going to be getting a Diago supply that'll fit well in the board (much smaller than a Voodoo or similar).

It is about the same weight as my flight case that fits my Tele, so it does tire if you have to carry it a ways. I haven't flown with this thing, but I'd take it as a carry-on anyhow. really happy about my purchase.

Comments about Diago PB03 Showman Pedal Board:

This is a very well made and very attractive piece of gear. The pictures don't do it justice. Seems to have the best usefullness-to-weight ratio of all others I have tried. Solid, very good pedal protection, very 'sticky' floor for velcro, extremely easy pack and unpack.

A little heavier than a guitar case when fully loaded, not a bad carry. You will need your own power supply. Will fit a Boss GT-100, a wah, and another small pedal on the front row, a little tight for anything else but a power supply with that setup. Plenty of room if smaller pedals used.

Only pain is that the clasps are up over the lip in front, and you might have to be careful with pedal placement to avoid having to monkey with your foot position to hit a lower rising switch.
