Awesome Effects and Bulletproof Reliability

Features:

This pedal has every effect most bassists will ever use. Everything from fretless and wah models to compressor, chorus flanger, envelope, and synth. with most being totally customizable with the exception of the synth models to some extent. changes are made easily with the 3 knobs and somewhat intuitive signal path laid out on the top of the unit. And it gives you amp models that are all extremely close approximations of their intended sound. Each amp model is adjustable by both gain and level making it totally easy to get the sound you want no matter how effected the signal is by blending the model level with the "dry" signal.

Quality:

Built like a tank, I have used this pedal for 5 years with no issues at all. All metal housing with a real metal expression pedal will stand up to the heaviest foot at any venue. Large digital display makes it easy to see the preset names and makes using the onboard tuner, also adjustable, super easy to see on the darkest of stages.

Value:

I dont remember how much i bought this for but i know it was not nearly as much as this jewel is worth. I have gigging continuosly with it for 5 years the last 2 of which have been my bass to the BP 200 to the board with no amp at all!  The fact that I can take this to a gig as a stand alone effect amp and di box is priceless to me.

Overall:

This unit gives tons of confidence with its build quality and effect/amp selections. The tuner makes it simple to use alternate tunings with its adjustable hz settings and chromatic scale. The plasic patch pedals at first seemed a little flimsy but after years of use and abuse have proved just as strong as the steel case. All the effects are laid out in a very intelligent signal path however it would be nice to place the envelope in front of the chorus for some greasy 70s funk but as is works just as well.

Amazing effects processor

Features:

the BP200 has tons of effects, some I'll never need, some a staple of my sound.  The whammy effect, the wah, and the compressor are top notch

Quality:

The thing is bult like a tank, don't get me wrong.  There is only one issue with the build, and it's that the down pedal will break after a few years.  I got mine in 2003, and the pedal broke in around 2007.

Value:

It's dirt cheap, you're not going to be able to find a better value anywhere else.

Overall:

It has some rough spots, but overall is a very good piece.  I would reccomend it to any bass player (and maybe some guitar players too) who is looking for a new toy.

i have had this piece of junk for about a year now.so far the tuner quit working in about six months, any sound i try to set changes itself from week to week.i have owned a lot of digitech and a lot of boss peddles and processors, and digitech always falls way short.they never last very long and it always leaves me kicking myself for trying to go a little cheaper and buying digitech.

I love this pedal. It is good for just about any player with any amount of experience. I was able to replace my Delay and Reverb pedals and even add a whammy effect by buying this pedal. The controls are very easy to use and I think it is a good stage pedal. Switching is fast and the screen is easy to see. I recommend this thing to anyone who wants to replace a few pedals.

As I started desiring to use more wah and effect oriented sounds, I bought this pedal. I have been pleased with the collective sounds and effects this thing can do. I'm a big Tool fan, so the Whammy effect immediately caught my attention. Coupled with the delay, it sounds fantastic. I also made good usage out of the amp models, which I was surprised to see how much difference they made in my preset tones. The interface itself is a little odd, and it does take some fine-tuning to perfect the sounds you're looking for. There are some shortcomings I found: the wah and the distortion. The wah was just not to my liking, and the distortion can be a little sporadic and uncontrollable. Both are difficult to harness effectively. I'll probably buy individual pedals for both eventually. Also, although I don't use it because I own a good Korg, the tuner sucks. Don't bother with it. I will say this: it is a good pedal if you are not a pro. If you are, you will need to shell out more to get the sound you need. And this pedal does a great job in replicating other types of effects and amps, but it does compare to the originals, nor should you expect it to.
