Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Much better sound then the Zoom I have been using. I play in a church worship team with no amps allowed on stage. The headphone seemed a little weak when the DI line out is used ( I like to hear myself louder then others do). I turned up the volume on processer and it helped. I am 67 and not tech savy, the manual seemed confusing on first reading away from processer, but put them together it was pretty easy to figure out. Great for silent practice.
Chord on transformer looks heavy enough to hold up and not have the insulation split like my Zoom did. Well built case. Big pedals are nice.

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Not as good as the real thing. This pedal is fun and has amazing array of fx and tools. The sound is "digital" and noticeable on reverb and the amp modeling. The pedals are close together so if you have big feet it takes a little finesse to click em on the fly. Well made and really fun pedal! I find my bass sounds better on bypass than through the pedal. Love the effects and looper.

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Well built item that has some very good sounds. All in one digital pedals never sound quite as good as analogue pedals but this one is very good for the money. The manual is not easy to understand. I spent a few hours getting very frustrated because I couldn't get out of an edit program till I realized which buttons I needed to press to get out of it. I couldn't find it in the manual and had to try every configuration to escape. Things like that cause me to dislike equipment and stop using it but I have continued to try things and now I have a good handle on how to get it to do what I want. The effects are very good and so are the amps. The cable could be longer but no biggie. Headphone output is a bit low regardless of which phones I use but this is something I can deal with. Overall excellent value for money and this will come in very handy for different projects.

this is an excellent unit, offering what I had hoped for, and more!
downside was that it came with recording software that was unusable. when I called to try to correct situation all I got was "the run around".
I no longer shop with musicians friend because of this lack of customer service.

I originally got this unit for playing bass in a band. When I went to another band playing rythem guitar, I used the 65 Twin setting through a Peavy KB3, and it sounds quite well! If you get this, definitely download the editing software ;)

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

The good and bad are related - you get so many functions but that makes it complicated to use and the manual is good but could be better. The factory setting ##'s appear the same as the user-setting numbers so can be confusing. Overall a great package of effects including a limited drum machine and short looper, definitely worth the $$$ especially considering there isn't much out there for bass players (note that there are MANY guitar effects on this device, too).

          my new rig!

          By

          from SoMD

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

the only thing i would change is the built in tuner. its a little hard to read sometimes and slow on responding to picking up notes. other than that its 99.9% the best pedal i've ever used.
this thing is awesome. i'm in a cover band that plays all over MD, DC, VA, WVA, and DE every weekend and i usually use 2 EBMM stingray 5's and a SWR Redhead with sennheiser in-ears on stage. i got this bad boy, made a handfull of presets, (my favorite is the B-15 head and Ampeg 810 cab) with some compression and a noisegate and i dont even bring my Redhead out anymore. i go direct to the board with this pedal now and use my In-ears. my soundguy absolutely loves it. said this little fella sounds great out front. all the effects, overdrives, reverbs, ect are very true sounding. im still blown away that this pedal has replaced my expensive Redhead.
          BUILT LIKE A ARMORED TANK
i cant believe it only costs as little as it does.

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Really happy with the pedal. If you're looking for a pedal that functions well with a big bang for the buck, you cant go wrong with this one.
Plenty of classic cab simulations, nice sounds library, built in looper
Pretty good build quality with nice pedal action.
For the features included, it cant be beat. The inclusion of the Cubase software is nice.

          BP355 Bass Multi-Effects

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

For those wanting to upgrade or side grade to a single unit this product can't be beat for the price and features. A solid metal enclosure and large LED with a properly angled face is easy on the eyes for stage use. Adjustable tuning reference and easy access to the tuner is a plus. An option to set the sensitivity of the foot pedal in addition to parameters was also a selling point for me. The factory sound set is quite good and and is a great starting point of the potential tones waiting to be tweaked. I tried several bass guitars [active and passive pickups] thru this box with no tone coloration or weird EQ issues. The effect mix control has a wide range and is precise. The software makes backups quick and easily done. Low end bass guitars will benefit a lot from the preamp section to get a monster tone. The only cons I found are there is no on/off switch and they could have offered a few less distortions and a few more EQ options with a sweepable range. Overall I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to all fellow bassists.
          everything one could ask for
          built like a tank
          superb price point
