Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

The good and bad are related - you get so many functions but that makes it complicated to use and the manual is good but could be better. The factory setting ##'s appear the same as the user-setting numbers so can be confusing. Overall a great package of effects including a limited drum machine and short looper, definitely worth the $$$ especially considering there isn't much out there for bass players (note that there are MANY guitar effects on this device, too).

my new rig!

By Moe-IEpXB

from SoMD

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

the only thing i would change is the built in tuner. its a little hard to read sometimes and slow on responding to picking up notes. other than that its 99.9% the best pedal i've ever used.
this thing is awesome. i'm in a cover band that plays all over MD, DC, VA, WVA, and DE every weekend and i usually use 2 EBMM stingray 5's and a SWR Redhead with sennheiser in-ears on stage. i got this bad boy, made a handfull of presets, (my favorite is the B-15 head and Ampeg 810 cab) with some compression and a noisegate and i dont even bring my Redhead out anymore. i go direct to the board with this pedal now and use my In-ears. my soundguy absolutely loves it. said this little fella sounds great out front. all the effects, overdrives, reverbs, ect are very true sounding. im still blown away that this pedal has replaced my expensive Redhead.
BUILT LIKE A ARMORED TANK
i cant believe it only costs as little as it does.

Digitech BP355 bass Pedal

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Really happy with the pedal. If you're looking for a pedal that functions well with a big bang for the buck, you cant go wrong with this one.
Plenty of classic cab simulations, nice sounds library, built in looper
Pretty good build quality with nice pedal action.
For the features included, it cant be beat. The inclusion of the Cubase software is nice.

BP355 Bass Multi-Effects

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

For those wanting to upgrade or side grade to a single unit this product can't be beat for the price and features. A solid metal enclosure and large LED with a properly angled face is easy on the eyes for stage use. Adjustable tuning reference and easy access to the tuner is a plus. An option to set the sensitivity of the foot pedal in addition to parameters was also a selling point for me. The factory sound set is quite good and and is a great starting point of the potential tones waiting to be tweaked. I tried several bass guitars [active and passive pickups] thru this box with no tone coloration or weird EQ issues. The effect mix control has a wide range and is precise. The software makes backups quick and easily done. Low end bass guitars will benefit a lot from the preamp section to get a monster tone. The only cons I found are there is no on/off switch and they could have offered a few less distortions and a few more EQ options with a sweepable range. Overall I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to all fellow bassists.
everything one could ask for
built like a tank
superb price point

Digitech BP355 Review

By sandmann

from California

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

This thing is insane for the price. I can get any sound that I want out of this multi effect pedal and it doesn't matter what style of music I'm playing, it has it all at a price that fit the pocket. You can pay more for a Boss, but you still get the same effect as the Digitech. I got this a few days ago. I spent a few hours playing with the presets and phrase looper, followed by a day of testing it through my amp.(Peavey Firebass 700) I was pleased, This product is fantastic. It is worth every penny. Not a single thing wrong with it!, everything you'll ever need and a whole lot more, Built like a tank.

Built like a tank!

By The Old Bass Dude

from New York Area

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

I got this pedal last week after deciding to spice up my sound. The first thing I noticed was how solid (heavy) this thing is.... feels like you could dance on it without an issue. Next came playing with the settings.... I have no idea how many possible combinations can be produced with all these choices but I'm having a ball trying them out..... found it relatively easy to lean the basics on this pedal and have already set a few of my own 'sounds' on it. The big test will be this weekend as it will be at it's first gig Friday night..... BTW: The tuner is a sweet touch too.

Great tones!

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

Heard this in store. One word...Amazing! Why run pedals when you can get it all in one tiny box with XLR outs. Access additional tones through the expression pedal. This thing sounds hi-fi and very studio! Modeling is here to stay!

Perfect for a simple bass player

By Mike B.

from N. IL

Comments about DigiTech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal:

It really is a cool effects processor. I wanted something simple so I suppose maybe I went a little over the top. But compared to the boss pedals this is priced pretty darn low. There more sounds than I'll EVER need. Comes with recording software and an ac adapter. I like the looper too. I'm sure there's a lot I don't know about it yet but so far so good.
