I got this thing about 6 months ago, and once I spent some time figuring out how to use it, I was pretty happy with it, but it wasn't quite what I had hoped. However, I recently bought a Marshall MG 100 w/ the MG slant cab (I had been playing through a Crate GFX 212 from a couple of years ago) and EVERYTHING sounds so much better! I am now totally satisfied with the sounds I'm getting from this processor. I don't think you can beat it for the price.
I enjoy this product alot. Its only downside is that it can be slow sometimes when switching from one model to another. It can be difficult to maneuver at times. But overall i like using it the possibilities are somewhat endless.
Easy operating system & software.Cool efx & amps & cabs, and lots of them.convenient package, well done.
Take the time to tweak your patches and you will be impressed with what it can do.
This floor processer is the best ive seen, the only thing diffrent than its big brother, the GNX3 is the 8-track recorder, but who needs that? All in all , this is by far the best ive ever used. All 10s from me!!!
This pedal will do EVERYTHING you want. The button that activates the wah sometimes does not work correctly on mine (after a year of heavy road work). It also makes some extra noise, so you really need to use the effects bypass loop in your amp.If you don't have a good amp already, I doubt some of the digital distortions are going to fill all your needs. This pedal really shines hooked up to the effects loop of a triple rectifier though.
This pedal has everything i need to make cool noises and do wild and crazy things. its kinda confusing but if you pull an all-nighter with it, you can use it with your eyes closed. I'm getting one as soon as i can!
Ive owned this processor for 6 months and the tones are great if you love to play any kind of music and dont want to buy all kinds of effects, then this is for you. Great Distortion and cleans. Perfect for live performances and recording. The processor has recently developed a interference noise on distortion settings (especially wah), but the clean sounds are still fine. Im shipping it back so maybe they can fix it. I would recomend this product but i would definately choose the GNX4.
This does a very good job with most sounds. I have owned a Genesis I, PODxt LIVE, and the ME-50, and while each has its pluses, the GNX II is an overall winner. I've owned this unit since 2001 and it still works fine (knock on wood) and answers my need for a rich, clean sound on one extreme and a raw, dirty edge on the other. The Vox sim. amp is good, and can produce nice tones with chorus, delay, and either a Rat or Muff stompbox effect added. Compared to the PODxt Live, I think this has an edge, as it does not have the "tinny" sound. I primarily play a Les Paul Custom, Strat and Tele, and run them into a Marshall TSL60. However, my Rics do not sound like I would like - early Beatles - when I use them through the Vox sim amp.
this thing sounds really nice.....and is pretty easy to use once youve spent a little time w/ it the expression pedal can control any imaginal perimiter.....which is awesome!!!!go but it!!!!!only one complaint....no usb and the wha isnt great....good but not great.
