Barely Cutting the mustard

Features:

When it comes to features the fact it has the SD card slot and can store HOURS is awesome.  The added footswitch makes switching easy as pie too.

Quality:

Structure wise being metal construstion its a durrable lil peddle but the sound quality comes out like all other digitec products (fake and processed).

Value:

its a good lil unit for younger players or players that don't mind sacraficing tone for money.  I use it for practice but would never use it for a show.

Overall:

If you like Digi products like the RP series peddles this would be great for you cause you.  If you are like me and want that awesome tone you get from Boss and fulltone peddles then do yourself a favor and just get the boss Loop Station.  If you're budget concious and a penny pusher go for it.  If you can hold out a lil longer for the Boss peddle do it.

I got mine several months ago and have been very happy with it. I use it mostly for live jazz duo gigs (guitar + sax). You will need the optional foot switch specially to stop the loop, it's a nightmare to stop it without it, believe me! I made my own foot switch with parts from radio shack. You can find instructions online as well as some videos on youtube on how to do it (it's fairly easy). I have posted a solo-jazz video on youtube using the jamman with the "home-made" foot switch under "sevensharpeleven" I think it's a great buy overall. For live applications you won't really notice any change in your tone. Excellent value! I highly recommend it!

I needed something to record drums and bass guitar on so while I am playing guitar on stage I can be a one man band.. Layering loops works great! ZZ top look out! The price is right considering what this dude will do. It is very well made and comes with a six yes 6 year warranty. I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and am really pleased with the sound quality of this looper remember junk in junk out if you lay down good stuff' people will swear you have the rest of the band behind the stage . Buy this looper and---- JAM MAN!

Hard to Master

I got a Jamman Solo for Christmas, played with it for two days and decided to return it. The pedal is incredibly hard to master due to the count in and the stiffness of the pedal mechanism. I also have a Line 6 looper which was incredibly intuitive and creativity was there right out of the box. The worst part is this unit clips very easily the send/return loop of all my amps, It also colors the tone pretty drastically. I really wanted to like this pedal but it just did not work for me.
