Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
The multivoice feature of this pedal gives you an extra layer of control over the chorus effect. In combination with the speed and depth controls, this pedal allows you to dial in a subtle chorus effect to a swirling, almost-Leslie type sound - and anything in between.
I don't gig around anymore, but it feels pretty sturdy and appears to be well-designed. If you're in the market for a chorus pedal, give this one a try.

Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
Not Gonna Lie, it's old. HOWEVER, the fact that it's not a NEW design, and that it still works AMAZINGLY and better than its competitors, is why you need this Multi-Chorus.
This brings excellent quality to a table filled with reliability and endurance.
Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
You get 98% of the performance at 2/3rds or half the price of premium pedals. For most live gigs and home studio apps, this is all most of us need in a dedicated chorus. Even though I own and still use premium chorus pedals, this is my every-day workhorse. I recommend it highly.
My all-time favorite chorus is the original analogue TC chorus / flanger I got in the early 1980's. It still sounds great, makes almost ZERO noise and has worked perfectly for all that time through MANY thousands of hard road miles. I also love the Carl Martin Chorus, which because of it's distinctive sound I use for certain studio sessions. I've had that about 15 years, and like the TC it still works perfectly, so it too has been a long-lasting great performer.
Having said all that to qualify both my experience and the fact that I am NOT a paid corporate shill, I have to say this pedal sounds great and is a great bargain.
Because this is a digital pedal, It must use some compression protection on the front end before processing. That's OK in this case because chorus pedals do most of their audio-magic in the audible range that digital easily handles. It has several different "voices" that emulate the TC, the Boss and the Carl Martin choruses.
One of the voices has that barely-perceptible pitch change that fattens low-end chunk but never sounds "washy." Heavy metal maniacs will LOVE this effect in STEREO with any amount of distortion since that adds MASS and GIRTH to distortion while increasing clarity. It never sounds muddy while rocking balls.
It is STEREO capable, which is absolutely essential with all modulation effects to avoid comb-filtering artifacts. If you ever hated a chorus because it made your sound "thin" or "lost" it was most likely because you heard that effect in mono.
ALWAYS spread chorus effects 180 degrees in the studio and ALWAYS spread chorus hard left & right through two discreet channels or amps, then that "thin lost" sound will disappear!
Because I had an endorsement with Digitech for a few years, I have tried many (almost all) and still own several of their products. So far, only one of the pedals I got had any problems. (The Metal pedal) and they fixed that promptly with no hassle.
My experience so far has been vary good with Digitech. Their service and tech-support has been excellent. That includes the period before, during and after the endorsement.
I am no longer endorsed or compensated in any way by Digitech for these comments.
I still use this pedal for local gigs, lessons and jams simply because it sounds great, and there's no sense in dragging all the heavy high-end gear to low-paying gigs.
Value is the main feature here. This thing sounds very similar to high-end pedals and is nearly as quiet. (meaning = Low noise)
For eighty-bucks, it is a great choice for anyone, even an old studio pro with specialized needs and very finicky tastes.
Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
The Digitech Multi Chorus is just a magic pedal, it is a Digital Multi Voice Chorus with a huge variety of tones, i consider this as one of the best chorus pedals. And it doesn't screw your tone, it also has a cabinet emulation (read the manual) which gives you a really high output (the manual says it is for direct recording or live shows) but i use it sometimes for practising.Outstanding chorus, outstanding price! There's a few pedals at the same or quiet close to the price but this is definitely the best because it has the "Voice" knob which gives you the privilege to choose how many voices the chorus produces, if you want 1 voice or 2 or 3 until 16 voices, depends of the song. However, i love it and i recommend it.
Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
I just bought a Digitech Multi Chorus and i have to admit that i wasn't expecting very much because there are not very good demos out there except those in the digitech webpage. But now i'm playing it and to me it's better than any other chorus, it is more versatile than the Boss choruses and it has a wide variety of sounds, it is a complete box of chorus. I recommend it for any kind of chorus. I can't say that with the Electro Harmonix Small Clone, that's a good chorus too but it's not versatile. The Multi Chorus is the most full-chorus pedal in the market at a low price. Try it, you won't regret!

Comments about DigiTech XMC Multi Chorus Digital Multi Voice Chorus Pedal:
I went to the store to try out a chorus. I picked up a Boss chorus, but I put it back down thinking; "I already own so many Boss pedals. I should try something I haven't yet." So I got the Multi Chorus and played it through a Fender Deluxe.I have to tell you that I was extremely impressed. I've heard so many people complain about thin chorus or unusable sounds on their pedals. None of that here. The chorus is fat but not muddy or overly boosted and all the sounds are usable. The voice knob does do a lot to give you the chorus in different ways. Basically like it says, they are "voices." I'm able to get the perfect Joe Satriani "Circles" chorus sound and I'm able to get a good blues chorus from it with a turn or two of the knobs. I can also set the depth and speed very low to get a super subtle sound that makes a rythm metal distortion sound really fat, a lot like the Master of Puppets sound that Metallica got through a similar method (I mean really subtle). And a lot of other sounds as well but those are my main sounds.Everything is very adjustable and usable. I'm suprised by the sheer variety of tones this pedal creates and how many of them sound so musical. I thought that chorus would be a one trick pony type of pedal but I find my self clicking this one on too much.As far as disadvantages, well it is a bit noisey. You can hear a hiss when it's on. Once you play it isn't vey noticeable and no one would notice it live. If you are an audiophile and only play in your bedroom and let your tonal OCD and 'gear hypochondria' get to you, then maybe it'll bother you. But it is in no way as annoying as a lot of people say chorus pedals are, and I don't use a noise gate. All in all, I'm loving this pedal and it makes me want to continue buying Digitech stuff.

This pedal has good sound for playing grunge, and 90's rock. I would suggest it for anyone to use. I am very satisfied with this pedal.
