Great EQ... but if you turn it on.... there is too much noise! hook it up with a noise suppresor pedal
This pedal is incredible. Just by moving a few of the sliders and adjusting the EQ, I could get tons of different distortion tones and clean tones. I think I like this more than my effects pedals!
This is not a rack product. It is not meant to provide or replace a 30 band rack EQ. Phenomenal features for a great price (much less than Boss, and MXR.) It is not a noisy pedal. If you are experiencing noise, odds are that you are running into 60 cycle hum, and I suggest you upgrade your power supply. Yes, batteries run out, and if you are running too many adapters into a power bar, 60 C.Hum is the noise you get.
Noisy little thing. I've tried it with three different amps and it's just crummy.
I have two. Tonally they are great!, Physically they are crap!. Often the pedal sensor craps out & often the battery cover breaks off. I keep an extra for parts. When buying second hand beware of faulty pedal button.
I have had this pedal for a long time. when I first got it I did not like it at all, running in the front end it is a bit noisy. I didn't use it for a long time. recently I got a Radial Loopbone for my new amp setup. and I figured i'd give the EQ one last chance for redemption. I put in in the fx loop and used it on the distortion channel and it did wonders. I use a B-52 ST100 tube head. sounds decent but for a high gain tube amp it is lacking in the distortion dept. this thing makes it sound amazing. now it keeps up with my TSL100 and it costs a lot less!!! overall a good EQ when used properly.
I own this pedal and it has been excellent with shaping tone. It has a sturdy construction and low price makes this an excellent eq pedal.
Excellent product that I couldn't live without, now that I am not without it.
Not bad, gets the job done, but the standard DOD foot switch goes bad after a while making gigging with this impossible. Since I like to use it for a "clean boost" either its on all the time and I do like having an option.
This is one of the cleanest and quality sounding stomp box EQ's I have played through. I lined it up with the Ibanez GE10, Boss GE7, Vintage Ross 10 band EQ, and a MXR M108. The M108 is the only one out of the ones mentioned that is as good and even cleaner but if you like to clip your EQ's and run them in front of your distortion stage the DOD it the way to go. I cannot believe it is half the price of the Boss GE7 which gets muddy very easily compared to the DOD. Some people don't believe any device deserves a 10. Why on earth have rating systems from 1 to 10 if you are NEVER going to give anything a 10? No, nothing is 100% perfect but you must rate on the basic variables. The price, quality, and what it was designed to do. This baby gets a 10 in my book!
