A wah built to handle Zakk's wild ways.

The Dunlop ZW-45 Zakk Wylde Signature Crybaby Wah must be one of the toughest, meanest wah pedals on the planet. Built from the ground up with great tone and rugged durability in mind, the Zakk Wylde pedal can stand up to the crushing stomp of metal's reigning king of lead guitar. The Wylde Crybaby Wah is crafted with a heavy-duty raw-metal casing and roadworthy components to withstand years of abuse. With guts that have been finely tuned to Zakk's specs, including the Fasel inductor, the Dunlop Crybaby wah is specially voiced to deliver extra-thick and cutting tone. You can power you Zakk Wylde Signature Crybaby with a 9V battery or the Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter

The Wylde Wah – the perfect marriage of brains and brawn. Lots of brawn. Order yours today.

As Metal as it comes and can still please Bootsy Collins

Features:

The Features may be the oe place that you can fault this pedal. It has asthetic flair and is pretty cool in terms of presets. However, there is no way to alter the sweep range or anthing like that (like on the Jerry Cantrel Wah). Just try it before you buy it, this pedal wont be for everyone, especially if you like to tweak and customize sound in the most anal manner, but this pedal will be for most people.

Quality:

This pedal is built super tough and clean looking. ENOUGH SAID!

Value:

If you can get this pedal on sale or used its an amazing deal. I found mine new on sale for an amazing price for any signature wah, especially one with this capability.

Overall:

A visually pleasing pedal that can play in metal and with a surprising amount of funk as well. Its Like a Hendrix clone on steroids. An amazing wah, may be the best out there, especially for the money

I got this pedal for Christmas and I tell you what I fell right in love with it. It give you a thick throaty and growly sound that know other wah can give you. This wah has know adjustment knobs so thts why i gave it a 4.5 for features. If you play this on a clean channel it gives you nice a nice thick warm sound. This wah has all the torque you will need.

This wah is great. Its got a much thicker throaty sound than the regular Cry Baby and handles as much distortion as you wanna run through it. It doesnt have as high pitch a top out when you press it all the way forward as a regular cry baby though so just keep that in mind.

My brother bought this pedal for me at x-mas.  When I first plugged it in and tried it out I was amazed at the sound and sweep. At first it felt a little odd compared to some other Wah's I had tried. But like new girlfriends, you need to adjust you game a little and the end result as great. This pedal seems to work best with moderate to high gains of distortion (imagine that, a Zakk Wylde effect pedal designed for high gain) so if that is the sound you are looking for this is the Wah for you. Simple lines in a rugged housing, no frills one button on off with an adjustable pedal resisitance setting. All in all very nice.

I wrote a review on this wah pedal a while ago, and felt obligated to follow up on what was stated.  I wrote the original review 3 months after purchase with no problems.  Now that I have had it a while I have had a problem.  The pot gave out, ironically, shortly after the original review.  The good news is that I changed the pot with relative ease.  The sound is very good in this wah, however given the chance I would try a different wah, perhaps a weeping demon or the dimebag signature.  Great wah, but very pricey.
