Comments about DV Mark FG Multiamp Frank Gamble Signature Guitar Head:
love this amp. but warning. DO read the fine print regarding speaker usage, or you may blow this amp. i.e. Make SURE you set it to bridge/mono, if using only one speaker, or stereo if using two. Also make sure NEVER to plug two speaker cables into an FG 2x12 cab, using the amp in stereo mode, or you will blow the amp. I was new to this tech. and couldn't wait to get going. Luckily I got the 3 year warranty. Now this was all my fault.. but one complaint is that dvmark needs to make the midi footswitch avail on musicians friend. I got mine from italy, which suprizingly was less than a week..I also recommend watching the tutorials on youtube. also one more thing... when using the footswitch, make sure the snd slot is set to off, or just take it out, or the footswitch won't work... could not find this info in the manual. you WILL want the footswitch.. having said all that...a fab sounding amp. I DO highly recommend the multiampfg, AND the fg 2x12 cab. great sound. I use it live every week. I make the other tube amps, with all the assortment of pedals, sound and seem silly. plus I carry my amp, speaker, and guitar easily in one trip...
