Comments about DV Mark FGC121 Frank Gambale Signature 120W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I've been a Fender Tube amp guy flor many years and I love my Deluxe reverb and Princeton but they were just getting too heavy and my back was shot.I stumbled on the DV Mark lil jazz .At 14 pounds it rivals a Princeton tone and the direct out made it PA friendly.Liked it so much I boughtthe newest Frank Cambale modrl and at 24 lbs I get 120 wstts with an od channel and 12 inch neo speaker.Sounds as good as the Deluxe at half the weighr and price.Good for any type music and loud enough to run with anthing on the stage.I love it so far.

Comments about DV Mark FGC121 Frank Gambale Signature 120W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

A bought this amp as a replacement for my burned Fender hot rod deluxe but my expectations was high considering how exigent is Frank Gamba!e with his sound. As a Fender amps player I can't get the Low end thump in the clean channel, is a little boxy sounding for my taste. It has a good high end but I can't vet a good jazz warm sound with my archtop guitars, I know is solid state but my Polytone is SS too and delivers that sound In other hand the overdrive section is the best I'd seen in SS amp, round, fat and articulate you can think is another amp compared to the clean channel. You can't get the warmth of tubes but is a good overdrive for SS amp. At 120 watts is very loud and maybe join can cure de boxy sound with an EQ pedal in the effects loop. Is a shame that it don't have an speaker output but has foot switch input and effects loop. I think I'll fix my Fender amp and keep this DV Mark for practice.

Comments about DV Mark FGC121 Frank Gambale Signature 120W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I was very disappointed to find that the amp did not have a power cable or a footswitch to select between the the two channels within the Amp. Those are typically standard items that come with an amp. I had to go and purchase those items separately. I've never purchased an Open Box item before so I called prior to the item shipping to get a better understanding of what an open box item was and I was told that it is basically a returned item and that item had been reviewed by the staff to ensure it was in good to excellent condition. Just disappointed. The extra items cost me about sixty dinero extra with shipping. So the savings of a quote open box purchase from your company was no real savings. Lesson Learned.

Comments about DV Mark FGC121 Frank Gambale Signature 120W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Powerful amp with a nice distortion sound.
The trouble was that the effects loop is unusable because it seemed to have a grounding issue.
I used it then I used other amps that I had and this amp was the only one with this issue.
      So, I sent it back.
Not sure if I will ever deal with DV Mark again.
