OVERVIEW

The sought after fuzz from Park Amplifiers reborn and updated with modern features.

EarthQuaker Devices and the newly resurrected Park Amplifiers have joined forces to deliver a reissue of the vintage Park Fuzz Sound! The Park Fuzz Sound is a germanium fuzz from the Tone Bender family that produces a brighter, almost distortion-like tone compared to its Fuzz Face counterpart. The new Park Fuzz Sound remains faithful to the original in topology and tone but adds some additional functionality for the modern player. Earthquaker increased the fuzz range, lowered the noise floor, hand matched all the transistors for optimal performance, internally regulated the power and added a DC power jack to allow for use on all modern 9v power supplies, added an LED, crammed it all into a smaller enclosure and made it readily available for a small fraction of the cost of the nearly impossible to obtain original!

Comments about EarthQuaker Devices Park Fuzz Vintage Tone Guitar Effects Pedal:

This is my favorite fuzz pedal. I have a handful too. I have owned several tone bender type pedals and this is by far the best. Its way more versatile than a straight TB clone because of the addition of the tone knob. The tone is fairly bright. Never shrill though. You can dial in a more bass heavy sound, but the high end is never lost. The fuzz is very musical, and not too compressed and muddy with tons of dynamics. I can play everything from classic rock, blues, to doom metal on this thing. It really is an incredible pedal. The sound is one You will love. I have a Gibson SG, 78 Ibanez LP clone and a Gretsch 5122, run through a Blues Deluxe. They all sound great, especially with the BD. It sounds even better if you add a slight amount of overdrive (i use a super hard on), it gains articulation that way. You can hear every note on a chord. Highly recommended.

Comments about EarthQuaker Devices Park Fuzz Vintage Tone Guitar Effects Pedal:

The Park Fuzz Sound is a decent little fuzz pedal, but don't think you're getting another Tonebender. The Park Fuzz is a bright, spitting, shrill fuzz, more at home with the fuzz face family. This pedal can sound great though. Just use the neck pickup to tame the brightness and plug it into a slightly crunchy tube amp. I like my British Pedal Co. MkII Tonebender a little bit better, but this is a great, versatile germanium fuzz as well. The Fuzz knob goes from no fuzz basically to an all out assault, where as other fuzz pedals go from a lot of fuzz to more, so that's another perc.

Comments about EarthQuaker Devices Park Fuzz Vintage Tone Guitar Effects Pedal:

The fuzz pedal arena is chock full of incredible options and I had a difficult time choosing.
I went with the Park Fuzz for several reasons.
        1. Quiet. This pedal is really quiet even when it's engaged.
        2. Broad sweep of sounds and textures. The Park Fuzz provides you with an incredible pallete of sounds to choose from.
        3. Reviews by JustNickMusic and JJTanis on Youtube helped me hear what I was looking for.
        4. Made in the USA. I like supporting our domestic economy.
        5. The character of the fuzz sound changes distinctly when shifting from bridge to neck pickups.
        6. I almost bought the Fuzz Master General, but in the end opted for a straight fuzz as opposed to an Octave Fuzz. Both were tempting though.
        Overall, I LOVE this pedal.

It works beautifully with the Dispatch Master reverb/delay.

I'm running it through a Vox AC4C-BL 4 watt amp on a Taylor with humbuckers.
