A 2-channel bass amp packed with 750W and awesome features.
The Fafner II 2-Channel Bass Amp Head is a well rounded, effects rich bass amp that gives you a full range of tone options and plenty of power to use them. EBS Fafner II uses a two channel preamp that can be run in series or parallel mode. Since you can switch between the channels or blend them together it opens up a lot of possibilities to shape your sound. The protected power amp delivers 750 W RMS raw power at 2 ohms, and more than 600 W RMS at 4 ohms!
A very rare feature on the Fafner II amp is the two separate balanced XLR-outputs “ one pre and one post EQ. This creates the opportunity to blend a clean signal with a processed straight from the amp, or allows you to use a clean signal at the front of a venue and while your own sound is in the monitors on stage. Not to mention the extended options it gives you in a recording situation!
Individual effect loops for each channel, and a common loop provide maximum flexibility when hooking up your effects. For example, you can connect a noise gate to the drive channel, without affecting the clean channel and you can use a chorus on the clean channel, without affecting the drive channel.
Utilize a remote footswitch control (EBS RM-4) to switch between the channels, bypass filters, kick in the character filters or mute the rig while tuning.
EBS Fafner II is designed, developed and built in Sweden.

Comments about EBS Fafner II 2-Channel Bass Amp Head:
The first thing I need to say is... Don't let the wattage fool you! EBS rates their amps with TRUE RMS watts and by FAR does Not over-rate their amps like Most other companies do. I used to use the SWR SM-1500 and that was one LOUD amp! But Fender claimed it was 1500 watts. Nope. More like a true 700 watts. But the EBS IS a True 750 RMS watts. You could NEVER turn it up all the way without blowing your ears out! I've only had it to 4 and that was it for me. But it is nice having the headroom and the extra power is what helps provide that whopping bottom end!
The bottom end on this will create an Earthquake in the building you are playing in if you turn the bass up a bit! Even more lows than an SVT I used to use back in the day. The rest of the tonal options on this amp can give you whatever you are looking for... no kidding!
I like the option of 2 channels and being able to kick a switch and you've got a different set sound.
The over-drive on this amp is just like the EBS Billy Sheehan Signature pedal. I've always loved the over-drive Billy gets.
The outputs on the back are everything the semi and pro players will ever need.
The SWR I used to own weighed in at 67 pounds and this amp only weighs HALF that. I am so happy about that in my later days. I have no problems carrying this amp around because the sound is just simply Amazing!! I had tried a few of those new Class D amps and they just don't cut it for me. Seemed like expensive toys to me.
In a sum up... This has to be the best amp I have ever played through and is solidly built. EBS is known for their ultimate top-notch quality. Believe me... You GET what you pay for. If you take your playing seriously... you owe it to yourself to at least try this amp out. I am so sure you will feel the same about it. Love it!!
