This is THE wah for bass period! As promised it will add groove to any bassline. It's real easy to dial in just about any sound you want. I can even make it scream á la Cliff Butons Anesthesia. It maintains the low end and adds flavor to the cut-through frequencies. I only wish that the switch between wah and volume features were hands free. This wah and some OD is all I need and use. Love it!

I ordered the Wahone because I wanted a combination wah and volume pedal. The Wahone fits the bill to a "T" and is tough as nails. I gave it a "5" because you can dial in many different wah-type sounds. I gave it a "3.5" in quality because of the amount of "hiss" that is heard when the active button is depressed. I could leave the button in passive mode, but I'd get a distorted sound. My answer, was to add a line selector to bypass the Wahone when it's not needed.(Even MORE money to spend on top of an already expensive device) Other than the excessive hiss, I like the great WAH you get. Just wish it was more QUIET!

Quick like... Very noisey on switching with pops when using any switch. Effect is very subtle and will not cut though a heavy guitar. More of a waa than a wah kind of an annoying sound. I'm really disappointed in this pedal. Don't know if this is a lemon but I wouldn't recommend it.

Tried several wah bass pedals and this one stands out with high marks. I would give it even more marks if the buttons and switches could actually make my sound better. I just leave everything in the center. The unit feels very sturdy and omits a high sense of quality. It looks like it's going to last a long time. One minor draw back is that it only does wah or volume. Some multi effects do more and keep everything in one unit, which means less to schlep around. I am happy with it overall.
