Comments about Eden EC210 180W 2x10 Solid State Bass Combo Amp:
This amp sounds great, if you get a good one. I had to send the first one I received back. It had a horrible rattle in it that I never could figure out. The replacement I got is right on the money! I'm sure there's always 1 that slips through the cracks. Eden got bought out by Marshall and these amps are made in China. What isn't these days? With that out of the way, let's move on to other things.
The speakers that are in it are NOT like what is pictured. They are dual cone, full range speakers. They sound fine, but it threw me off a little when I got the amp. I was skeptical at first. Must be a new design they are trying. So, there's no separate tweeter. Initially, I am satisfied. I do like that this combo can push another speaker cabinet. I bet another 2x10, or 1x15 cabinet would be great with this amp. The manual says you can get 220 watts out of it, if you do this. It does have a port hole in the front. Since I just got it, I can't say how the durability will be. I will mainly just use it at home, so I expect it to last a long time.
